Vey beautiful ar style! I loved the interactive elements and the sense of progression as the spirits got more challenging. The atmosphere is immersive, with great audio and visuals that really enhance the experience. Well-crafted and enjoyable game!
Amazing game, I really feel Phasmophobia vibes here,
but more sea-themed (and it's amazing), with different spirits and tactics.
I love the chaos on the table when every item is used, and the tutorial was really helpful!
Super cute game !!
This is such an amazing game, maybe my favorite I've played so far!! The gameplay loop was solid, it was a great take on the theme to extend the calm before the storm, and I loved that you incorporated all these different ways to interact with the objects. I played through all 7 days! The tutorial was also super helpful and the addition of new creatures throughout the days added a great sense of progression. If theres any teensy thing I would change is the foghorn sound is pretty loud and grating after a while of summoning new creatures :)
another one who’s finished it tqsm 😭
The art style is good and the gameplay loop is engaging. These kind of puzzle games are difficult to nail since you shouldn't overload the player with information while giving way too less will leave them clueless. I think you hit the nail since it just satisfies me to identify the spirit and then exorcise it successfully.
And not to leave out, the sound effects are great like adds the haunting/ unsettling feeling whenever a spirit is spawned.
Kudo!! Great job with the submission.. :D
Ver funny little minigame. I enjoyed it very much XD
I've played game after game for this jam, but this is by far the most polished one I have experienced yet. The art style is consistent throughout the whole thing, the user interface is clean and isn't cluttered. and the sound design really pulls it all together. I simply cannot commend the tutorial enough by the way, not many games have done that and yours explains the mechanics really well! I guess one thing I can say is that I'm not exactly sure what the spirit box charging thing did even after the tutorial (I forgot lol) because I never really had to use it until I got wiped on day 5 - but still. If this game wins, I'll tip my hat off to you guys, because it would be well deserved.
thanks for the comment! the spirit box is completely audio based so after charging it up by spamming the button it will begin to play an audio (if the spirit has one). For example screaming or singing. It should be pretty obvious if you hear something so if it’s vague static it’s probably nothing
Hee-ho. Nice game. Very cool visual
easily the best game ive played, and probably the best of this jam! also, the longest of one of these games ive played, which is really impressive because making a jam game engaging is hard. normally i would comment a few things i would improve on, but i didnt think of anything for this game. awesome job!
saying my game was engaging enough to keep you playing for a long time is one of the best compliments you can get as a game developer. Thanks a bunch 🙏
AMAZING GAME periodt. Probably the BEST game I've played in all my game jams and is a winner in my heart. It is so much fun!! - I played all 7 days. The tutorial was so helpful and such a nice touch. The audio fits the game vibe so perfectly and the volume is so well tuned. The gameplay was so smooth and I did not encounter a single bug. The game design is flawless as well - the progression in the game makes it so enjoyable - learning about a new spirits and new combinations. The humor for kraken got me dead (I actually did miss it one time - just started spamming the spirit box and using the temperature probe out of habit haha) All in all, I love love love this game!!!
when I was making this game I was never expecting to elicit such a reaction from everyone and especially see anyone bother enough to finish the game. I really appreciate the comment 👍🏻
Wow! What a unique game! Good thing there was a tutorial. I loved the idea and the table in front of me with so well drawn objects. Nice work!
Really nice game! I liked the game design and the visual presentation, audio in general is very well achieved! Only thing is that the game is a bit slow to start, but very enjoyable.
Holy shit, from the 80 games i played so far, this is my favorite
The art and sound are so in point that i don't even have what to say
To concept is so creative and fun - and i'm a sucker for both spirits and ships
I love everything about this game!
80 games and it’s your favourite??? Man that means a lot to me. Thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏
Wow, real phasmo vibes! :O It's fun to use the different items, click it, shake it, drag it, playing flute, well done :)
THIS GAME WAS SO MUCH FUN. Graphics? Great. Sound design? Amazing. Gameplay loop? Incredible. Phasmophobia vibes? Absolutely. I honestly have nothing bad to say about it—I had such a great time playing it.
Okay, this was really cool. I loved gathering the clues for creatures, actually enjoyed it more than Phasmophobia, maybe because I didn't have to walk around and throw items in random rooms. It was also interesting to add Papers, Please's "too much stuff on my desk" mechanic along with the timer. I would've gone gone more for the horror vibe though (not full-on horror). The art was great, but very bright when looking at the lore and mechanics.
This was INTENSE, Really liked the idea of gathering clues while being on a timer. Looking forward for what's to come
Nice game and tutorial! I really liked the variety of unique items you can use to take down the spirits.
Very well crafted entry! Visuals and audio presentation is amazing, gameplay loop is polished and balanced, story and lore is well served and overall is game is very nicely done! Easy 5/5 for me!
Glad "the storm" brought a lot of ships to the jam! If you'll have some time, try Stormflow as well, would be cool to hear your feedback!
I love how interactive the game feels, and how sleek the art looks! The only thing I can mainly recommend is to make the items on the desk take up less space. Despite that, it was a good decision to make it so when you hold an item it goes to the top to make it easier to click. Great game overall!
