I like the fact that it gets more intense when there' s a storm. However, it's a bit simple and not very unique. Also, is there no sound?

How does your game fit the theme?
I have a normal wave, calm wave, then super intense wave (calm before the storm) and also in the intense wave there is also lightning
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Almost all the code was written by me in Godot, but most of the art was made by my friend AirOwltree123.

Nice game! Was very satisfying to play, I liked the overwhelming amount of bullets that the player ship was shooting lol. Although the calm section felt a bit boring and consisted of mainly just waiting for the fun part to begin. Maybe you could spend that time preparing for the storm or something like that? Idk what I specificly would do there but I feel like it needs more interest. But in the end of the day this is a one week long jam and I think your game was fun anways!
Hey, pretty good game. Controls are good. Would be good if the lightning destroyed the enemy ships.
really nice and fun i almost got addicted, but if u added sound would have been so much better, great job anyway
Very nice shooter, I found it satisfying to play and I quite enjoyed the added difficulty of the boss waves. Nice work!
A really solid little entry! I think you really nailed it on the head regarding bullet amount and spread as well as damage vs enemy health, it felt super satisfying to gun down the enemies but definitely didn't ever feel trivially easy so great work on the balancing. If you took this further some kind of upgrade system, maybe dropped after each storm would really add to the replayability. All told great job!
Fun little roguelike, reminds me of what I would do in MIT Scratch before I myself picked up Godot. I like the aspect of minor spread between player bullets that made clearing areas much more forgiving. Got 1170 points. The slowly increasing intensity made it fun. I would add audio, more unique enemy types, and an upgrade system to the game if I had 3 days to improve it.
it is good game if it had sounds it will be much better
And you could give the storm more care
My game is LITERALLY the word storm
Fun game with nice graphics, only criticism with the gameplay is that the game between "storms" is a bit too easy.
I really liked the detail of the background. The stars paralax effect looks great!
I feel like a bit of audio could do a lot for this game.
I like the amount of enemies and how they spawned in. I did a similar thing for my game, but your execution better and more balanced in my opinion
Really love the asteroid / space invader gameplay mixed with the theme! I had fun,
A lot can be added to this to make it really cool, but as it stands I feel like it's missing something. Maybe some variation in enemies, upgrades stuff like that. It's understandable though, given that it's made in a week. Also, sound and music would be cool. I do really like the enemy destruction animation, looks very cool. Congrats on the submission!
This is definitely a game I could see myself playing for a while to chase the highest score! I’d love to have some music to jam along to, though. Overall, great job!
