Really cool game, looked sick and the gameplay was smooth and satisfying. I was so tense fixing the last couple items and while a payoff at the end would've been cool, the building tension was more than enough!
I noticed on the teapot one of the spots was hard to find, I think it was inside and I couldn't see it without the prompt.
Awesome game though, very scary, brilliant work!
This game is so beautiful, the combo of 2D and 3D looks so good combined with the black and white color scheme, and the colored liquids. The mechanics are also really fun, the resource management is quite challenging and rewarding when you get the hang of it. Nice work, I really enjoyed playing this game!
I had a lot of fun with this one. I think the idea of a 3D coloring game is really cool and I found it very relaxing, thanks also to the choice of music. I also liked the mushroom characters walking around, they were very fun!
I also liked the ending and how it's triggered by a door in the wall, it makes the environment fell even more dream-like, nice work!
I really like the visual style here, the ascii art is really pretty and the color scheme is lovely on the eyes. The artwork at the end too is beautiful I've never seen anything like it.
The game loop too was great, the progression was nicely timed and the sound effects really enhanced the feel of the incremental progress. I LOVED the research panel too it was great fun to look at :)
Well done!
Thankyou for the feedback! I'll definitely need to take a look at some of those abilities, seems I got some of the numbers wrong :/
I definitely think I'll take a crack at some of your suggestions, I actually have half the code to examine items (just never got it finished) - and the enemies all have inventories that I wanted to allow the player to loot. With a bit more time I could make a bunch of new enemies and items too!
