How does your game fit the theme?
The action of the game takes place in the stormy seas while you upgrade your ship on the calm land.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code is mine except for the damage numbers, which is an asset I purchased from Ekincan Tas.

Amazing Game!

If it was really made in 5 hours really nice job on making the game pretty fun to play with a nice variety of different random upgrade options and really clean mechanics that worked well in such a short time. To improve it you could add some audio, but great work on the game especially so fast.

First thing first... Congrats for making a game in 5 hrs. I for the love of God can't figure out how you made it in 5 hrs.

Some audio would have really helped but the game is fun. The gameplay loop would have been more interesting with some particle effects.

Kudos bro!! For making such a polished game in such short time.. Thanks for submitting.

The game is very unpolished art and soundwise, but it is impressive that you put out such smooth gameplay loop and movement settings in just 5 hours! I was also impressed by the amount of upgrades you could choose between cycles.

Nice game loop. I also really liked the way the upgrades were presented. I would say though that a lot of the waves felt more so tedious than challenging due to the large amounts of enemies which just approached you really slowly. Maybe at some point the enemies should start shooting bullets at you

Thanks for the feedback, I agree that the waves definitely feel tedious, so I'm working on that.

You nailed the upgrade system that a vampire survivor would have! I feel like a reroll button would be great to cycle through the upgrades to achieves specific builds. Could definitely improve on the visual and sound side but the gameplay loop is there and quite enjoyable, good job

Cool little game! even if it is rough it is still fun and addicting! It can be really improved! I won it btw!

Developer

Thank you! I came up with the idea way too late so the game is definitely unpolished. I checked out your game and it's really sick.
