How does your game fit the theme?
The goal of the game is to find the 2 sacred gems to open the Great door and find out what's behind!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes I wrote all the code and made all the art assets from scratch.
The music was from a free bundle on itch and I gave credit to the creator in the description of my game.

The difficulty was unimaginably high for a game with such cute pixel art. The fundamentals of the action game are meticulously crafted (especially the handling of platforms moving in the air and the idea of using enemy characters as platforms!). I thought that if the difficulty was adjusted to be a little easier, it would become an even more enjoyable work than it is now.
Cute platformer with tons of mechanics! The graphics are good, the music is fitting, and the game in general is really cute =)! I really enjoyed the movement options, every upgrade felt really good ^^.
The character moves a little bit too fast for my liking, and the control scheme is a bit weird, I'm personally more used to space to jump. The relationship with the theme is also a litlle bit far-fetched ^^'. But other than that, I enjoyed my time on this game, so congratulations ^^!
i like the atmosphere and vibe of this one. the music is plucky and fun. the controls for a desktop player were unconventional and a little frustrating. it's hard to get your bearings. either way, i liked the game.
I really like the art style, very cute. The controls were a little frustrating at times but overall great game!
Pretty fresh atmosphere and good gameplay with calming background music and cute art style. I liked your game. We really do have similar platforming elements in our games.
I really liked it! I foud a few problems, for example: you can climb up walls with the down attack, and I had to use this to take the dash power up because i couldn't reach it by jumping. Also, you can win without taking the moon. Just saying this to help tho. For the rest, the game is really fun, the graphics are really cute and well made and I enjoyed it a lot!
Good game graphics and a relaxing theme. All in all, a great game !
Cute. The control scheme was a little weird to me.
Neat little platformer. Now sure how it fits the theme, but fun!
Really cute character, and I love the idea of collecting gems to open a door! It was a bit difficult at times, but it might be just me being bad at platform games hahaha, well done!!
Cheery art and music, I will say I enjoyed the time I spent in the game, mostly because of how difficult it was! I am not a platformer player mostly, and I got used to the controls pretty quick I'd say, not a bit deal. Though the difficulty of some of the areas was a bit much even for me. For example the quickly moving green vine to reach double jump was pretty difficult (until I figured out that horizontal acceleration carried into jumps at least)! I also wish maybe scene changes between levels had doors or something maybe? A little more incorporation of the theme into the gameplay would be pleasant. For a single new developer though, I think you did a good job for only week!
It has good feeling movement mechanics and nice art. The level design reminds me a lot of the path of pain in hollow knight, so that's a plus for me
Art is good. The background is a bit dull, though. A basic paralax background make sideview games look way better with little work (just 2 textures with bamboos for example, and a 3 lines script).
The gameplay is ok but the controls are not very intuitive, and some of them unecessary. For exemple why do we need to press 2 keys to jump? Just make it automatic (like in Mario games). This is especially true in a game jam where you can expect that most players will not be used to platformers and pretty bad at it.
Most people said what I'm gonna say. Great style, lovely art, but yes, the controls were a little weird on a keyboard. Z never felt like the right jump button for some reason.
Nice little game though and the difficulty was good for a game jam.
Cheers

First of all great title! Great music I like the art style the key board controls through me off but was way better with the controller
Awesome music, great art style! Brought the difficulty up quickly, I liked the challenge!
Cool art style! Spiders are beautifully drawn! Controls feel a bit weird witch Z and X keys, but otherwise a great game!
Thanks for the feedback, I'll make sure to provide alternative controls or hopefully re-mappable controls in my future projects!
I love me some panda, there so cute!
Nice little platformer for sure, tho maybe check your page and the font color cause I can't see the text. But good game for the jam!
Thank you so much for the feedback and for playing my game! Sorry you couldn't see the text, do you mean the text in the game like for the double jump unlock? Or do you mean the itch page you can't see the text?
Edit: Oh nvm I tried it on another computer and see what you're saying, thanks for letting me know! I think the page is fixed now!
