The style is fantastic, though I have to agree with the puzzles not being very clear. It made more sense when reading the hint, but I would have never figured it out on my own.

The game was really cool, but I feel like there should be an explanation to solving the puzzles in the game. I was very confused until I read the actual page

I managed to escape! The pixel art with the limited color palette is great and really adds to the creepy atmosphere. The sounds of the locks were also a good addition. I like how the creature appears behind your character during the second-to-last puzzle.

Unfortunately, the moon phase puzzles went completely over my head. Maybe I'm just dumb, but I ended up brute forcing my way to the end. I think an in-game tutorial would have definitely been helpful!

Overall, nice job!

Nice job reminded me of a Gamboy dungeon crawler I would play as a kid. loved it.

Amazing ambiance, graphics, and audio. Took me a minute to figure out some of those puzzles too. Great job!

It's a nice ambience game with puzzles, thank you. I loved the sounds!

The art-style and soundscape are really interesting and do fit the ambience and plot behind it! Also enjoyed the puzzles (especially when you get to know the way to play them) heheheh

Well done!

This was a very cool and clever game! I haven't come across such door unlock mini game! Good job!

That was a really cool puzzle game, I've never seen anything like it before. The graphics are absolutely amazing, whoever did the spritework should be proud. It took me a little bit to figure out the instructions on the game page, but when I realized the puzzles were really fun. Great work you two!

Oh and I did find a glitch where if you spam click the corridor, you can skip the puzzles... but I went back and did it legitimately of course!

Thanks a LOT for trying our game! And for completing it!

We know about that glitch ahahaha that was like a "debug" feature we left unintentionally 😅

The visuals are amazing and the gameplay was very unique. Just had to read the page first to actually understand it.

I love the visuals and the aesthetic. The little visual effect that plays when you step closer to a door is really cool. Also the little animation that plays when the lock is counting is a nice touch. If it were ever made into a longer game it would benefit from some variety though. Maybe some other moon/star themed locks that get more and more complex as you go? I could imagine a series of progressively harder esoteric lock mechanisms.

Thanks for trying the game! Yeah, our idea was to incorporate a wide variety of locks (some of them are even in the code already), but it was tricky to make them fit the aesthetics and  the art was taking a lot of time already with just one type of lock. Jam things! Thanks a lot again!

Very good work!

All the door codes felt intuitive and I got some of them in 1 try but then the last door took me ages, it made my doubt my reasoning... I'm still unsure of how it works. Sound and atmosphere were great, art was really nice as well, great work!

Could use some player guidance but looks good!

Took me a while to figure out how the puzzles worked, but this is a really cool game. Visuals are definitely the highlight, I love the spooky art style, and the sound design, though simplistic, definitely helped the tone.

One thing I'd suggest is to make the text bigger, and less cramped. Nice work overall! :)
