The only requirement is that you can host your game on itch.io, as a web build or a download. Any engine/coding language is fine!

I second scoping the game to be small. It seems like nothing but aim for a jam edition to be played for about 5-10 minutes.

Every participant should ideally have an itch.io account so they can be made an admin/contributor to the page of whoever uploads the game. It's not necessarily required, though.

As per the itch terms of service, the minimum age allowed is 13. To publish under 18, you need parental/guardian consent.

This game is truly one for the ages. The gameplay is immensely deep and frankly you need a high IQ to even comprehend it. As I raced further and further, I felt a connection between me and my honse grow stronger. We were inseparable. Our bond could not be broken, by the loss of the race or by the scary snek tongue. I will cherish my time with Honse for the rest of my days.

Very pretty

Thank you! You are supposed to use the key on the side door outside that is boarded up, after breaking them off with the axe. That's the end of the game though as I didn't have much time to get actual gameplay in lol.

Hey! I am working with some of the devs in an attempt to make this a full game. I know this was awhile ago, so it's a long shot, but I was just curious what aspects of the game made you like it? Thanks!

Pretty nice, feels polished.

I think it's pretty fun, there is some serious potential here. With a bit more polish and maybe more difficulty (less difficulty on finding the enemies and more difficulty in the actual combat), this could be really addicting. Nice job!

🔥

I enjoyed it, surprised there aren't more of these kinds of games.

Pretty cool, the melee build is OP

This is so fun

Pretty cool game, and a really cool idea to form such a big team

Pretty cool

I can see the vision, and it's cool that it's multiplayer!

I really like the visuals and the gameplay was fun. I did get softlocked though. Not sure how, but I went inside some spikes and then got stuck.

Took me a little to understand what was going on but it's pretty cool

Thanks. It was originally the plan, but I ran out of time. It was my first time doing my own art, and it took waaaaay longer than I anticipated...

It's mostly just keeping track of chords and known progression of notes in order to see if commonly played together notes are played. It's not super robust, and it definitely could use some work if it was a full game, but it got the job done.

I love having the sense of community to talk to and share and see everyone's work on their project. All the other jams I have done have had one.
