I don't know what to say. The game is beautiful and fun and a cool hommage toOvercooked.

I loved the game in general and the art especially the envirnment + rated :)
Fun and interesting game!
Unfortunately, on the second boss, the hand seems to be blocking the meat slicer (perhaps a collider issue?), and I couldn't seem to find a way around it.
Other than that, great concept and good fun!
Love the visual and the concept it clearly have some overcooked vibes , you really have something with this BossRush Overcook matchup , it works well !
A placement phase of the objects would have been nice in my opinion between the purchase phase and the combat phase .
It's really buggy, I was unable to cook food because a giants hand was covering my fire. The fire upgrades just get stuck in your shop? I love the boss design though, and the character animations.
When I go into fullscreen mode the game doesn't zoom out and I've got the same size game window stuck on the upper left corner of my screen...
I don't know if/what I did wrong. I fed him the first burger and got paid. I got another point for my score which I never picked up, and progression kind of got stuck...
yeah when you go into fullscreen it doesn't re-center the game window, just locks it in with black boarders so it's easier to see - I think that's just how the HTML5 build works for the engine I used. That's weird you got stuck with the progression, were you unable to complete any orders after you did the first? also thanks for playing!
The graphics, music and idea are amazing. Definitely one of the best games in the jam. The soundtrack is a banger.
Cooking! It took me a while to figure things out, definitely has Overcooked vibes! The theme was very well applied here, well done! The fact that you can improve the kitchen and optimize the workflow adds a lot of depth to the game. The bosses design and the giant salesman are very cool!
I have some suggestions:
- Switching items. For example, if the character is holding an item and is trying to put over a "placement" that already has something, if possible, I wish I could switch the holding item with the idle one;
- A timer or lose condition would make it more interesting, I believe;
That's it, good job!
Thanks for playing! I definitely wanted to implement a lose condition but I both ran out of time and also felt the game was too hard for a jam with it. There are timers on the orders which count down, just nothing happens when they reach zero. Also the switching items is a good idea, I think I'll add that to a future update of the game.
The smoke attack of the boss is really fun. Good utilisation of the theme !
I take time to realise that i had to cut the meat before cook it x)
but overall its a good entry !
SUPER fun game! Major overcooked vibes, really stressful (in a good way!) and engaging! Good job!
