That was a really good game with a unique style ! I liked the art and the switching gameplay, it's really cool ! The changing music but with the same notes is very pleasant actually :)

I would just recommend to balance the difficulty a little bit, but this is not a big deal.

Unfortunately, i found a game-breaking bug for the puzzle part that enables you to go through walls, but that was funny actually xD

Overall this is a good work ! Keep it up !

Developer(+1)

yeah, I know about that bug but I couldnt do anything with it so I kept it, and its funny xD

A neat idea and good use of the black and white restriction!

The genre switching concept is an interesting idea. I like how this is supported by the different colour palettes and music for each genre. I also like how this mechanic allowed you to get different perspectives on the same level.

One bug I found is that in the puzzle mode, you can use the boxes to push yourself through surfaces and skip the levels.

Cool idea overall. Good job!

Developer(+1)

I know about that bug and I decided to keep it because its funny and most people wouldnt even experience it. How one man said: its not a bug, its a feature XD

Fair enough. It definitely got a laugh out of me when I figured it out lol.

Very fun game! I've seen "play the same level multiple times with slight variations" games before but this is the first which does it with completely different genres of games.

This is a really well done entry, I really enjoyed it! :) Nice work!

Thanks!

I really love this game! Switching between the different play styles is a really cool idea and worked really well. It also helps keep the game feeling fresh and makes me want to continue playing. Switching color palettes between play styles is a great idea too and I think this is one of the only games I've seen to take advantage of that part of the jam rules.

Just a few nitpicks.

1. In platformer mode it was difficult to land in the right place because of how the player falls quickly.

2. In topdown shooter mode, I would suggest allowing the player to hold down the mouse button for continuous fire. My finger got pretty tired from clicking after playing for a while. Also maybe the enemy bullets could've been a little slower - felt kind of random whether or not I was able to dodge them.

Really awesome entry. Definitely one of my favorites from the jam.

the idea of change from a platformer to a top-down game is really interesting, theme applied and nice gameplay!

This idea is so cool and ambitious, especially for a limited time game jam. I was never great at top down shooters so it's hard for me to say there, but I think you nailed the feel of the other two. I also really enjoyed the music and the swap of color and tunes between gameplay styles. Nice sprite work, too.

The concept is absolutely great! When I realized that the same level went from a platformer to a top-down game I let out an audible "Holy s*it". That's a super creative entry!

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, when I came up with this concept i knew it was IT.

it was super fun! loved the gamestyles and art too. i was excited for the updates..

Super fun little game! I dug the music, liked pretty much every thing there! I feel like the player feels a little heavy on the fall down, but that may just be a personal preference/lack of skill in platformer games on my part?

Super fun! Even though each genre is short, they are fun enough to balance it out. The art is really cute and I like how the colors change depending on the genre. The music is really nice and blends with the game really well. The combat was for sure my favorite part of the whole game, it felt smooth and very satisfying. Personally I rate it at a 10/10. Super fun game, I really recommend playing it.

Everyone should check this game out, it mixes 3 genres in a unique and refreshing way. It takes the 'Loop' theme a step further. The art looks great, and the colors really pop. It has solid, satisfying gameplay mechanics in all three genres. And those sprites are awesome, wow, I am impressed xd

Submitted(+1)

Fun idea, all 3 game styles work quite well and were fun to play. I did possibly feel like the first level cheats a bit given the 3 styles use 3 different closed off areas of the level, but even making a single level that can be played in 3 styles in just a week is pretty impressive, good job!

i really enjoyed this, all three gamemodes were quite well polished: the platforming was responsive, the combat felt fun and juicy because of the sfx and particles, and the puzzling was interesting. The shifting color palettes really added to the experience and they were all very pleasing to the eye.

Really liked this game, I think it has a lot of potential. Very cool idea. I liked the changing colour palletes.

I think it would have been cool if the genres interacted more, like for example if in puzzle genre you can move boxes/platforms to make the platformer easier. Also the shooting genre is a bit basic and not as enjoyable - but given time constraints I understand its hard to fully flesh out everything.

Cool game...... really like the art. Would be good if there was a web build. But overall good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I would've done it, but I was very nervous and forgot about it
