Thank you, and your games are definitely worth it, go for it!

Thank you for the gameplay!

I like the concept a lot!

Thanks :)

Thank you!

Linux build is up! Let me know if you have any issue

Absolutely! I'll add Linux as soon as I'm at my computer, and I'll let you know when it's done

Thank you for playing! It is possible that the difficulty spikes at level 10, I'll keep an eye on it and rebalance if it's too much!

The games are not related, goofy me just didn't realize there was another game with that name

Thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed the game (and the grenade)

Endless Express is a super fast-paced platform shooter where the goal is to get the highest score by completing arenas, set in a train that bends time and space.

The game has been described by my friends as "Pac-Man on steroids", and you will quickly understand why. To succeed, you will need to collect energy around the map and use that energy to destroy the big horde of enemies on your tail.

It's super fun and addicting, so you should give it a try!

Found you via your dev blog, congrats on getting 2nd place! Awesome game :)

The artstyle is really good!

Nice game! I really should have played this one sooner. I really like the artstyle!

Damn I really wish I had friends, this game must be so good with someone to play with. Great work!

I really like the colors and the gameplay! Any game that reminds me of Megaman is a great game in my book

I absolutely love the artstyle, especially the 2D animations! The 3D city is great too, really like the color choices.

Nice game! I like the artstyle and the gameplay is interesting, although it took me a bit to understand that I needed to click at the top of the screen. Maybe some tutorial would help?

Regardless, really nice entry, très bon travail !

Thank you for the kind words! I appreciate it!

I'm a bit confused though as the lack of music has been mentioned in another comment, is there actually no music at all during the gameplay?

Because I did make 2 tracks for the game, one for the main menu and one for the actual game, and I'm wondering if it might be a bug? Or maybe your music volume was set to the minimum for some reason? If there is any info you can give me about this I would really appreciate it so I can fix the issue!

Thank you for the feedback! I definitely think I could have focused more on the pacing instead of the difficulty being rather linear, unfortunately I was running out of time.

As for the music, there is actually some music, maybe your volume was set to the minimum for some reason?

Interesting concept, I didn't really understand how to properly shoot though, as sometimes it felt like it didn't register the input.

Congrats on the game either way!

It's really cute! I really like the artstyle and the sound effects are quite nice. I also like how bright everything feels when you get your glasses.

Thank you! This is some really good feedback here!

I really like the idea of the gun shooting the glasses, I think there could be something really cool here (like a sub-shot automatically aiming for the glasses or something, similar to Morty in Multiversus).

And jumping on the glasses should deal damage, maybe you were victim of a bug? In my case it always deals damage to the enemies around.

I'll see what I can do if I keep working on the game after this jam, thank you again for the great feedback and ideas!

Thanks a lot!

Really charming game! I like the artstyle a lot

Congratulations on your first game jam, I hope you enjoyed the experience!

I love the music here, and the feeling of insane power when you get the glasses. Although when you loose them you really do miss them.

Good job on the game!

Holy hell that one is good, even more impressive that it was done in 4 days!

I love the artstyle and the juicy audio (also what a track). The only feedback I could give is that the camera maybe wobbled a bit too much for my tastes. Other than that, it's really just an impressive entry!

Hey! Hope you're enjoying your first jam experience!

For a first jam I think you did a good job, although I would recommend spending more time on polish and a little less time on adding features. That's just my opinion though, congratulations on your first game jam game!

I like the character model and the way it moves, very cute!

Thank you, I appreciate that!

Thank you for the feedback! I put a lot of efforts into making the game not annoying despite the concept, so I'm glad it worked out!

And seriously, I really wish I could have added more! I thought I would have the time for at least more enemies, but it was my first time using Godot and I had to figure out all the export stuff, which took me more time than I would have liked it to. If people like the game, I'll definitely keep working on it! And that would totally include a hold-to-shoot option, or even an auto-fire option.

The character is so fast I feel like I'm playing as a racing car, which is hilarious and really cool!
I also like the music a whole lot

Good job on the game!

I was actually referring to the UI yeah! But that's really Unity's fault

Hey that's actually really good I think!

Ahh I was started to get worried I would be the only arena-highscore game in the jam!

Really love all the movement options and the overall juiciness of the game, everything feels responsive and impactful. Only problem is that I found spamming E to be very powerful, although I did end up dying even when doing it so maybe it's not that strong.

Great job, I really like this one!

SSSUPER COOL game although I have to admit I SSSUCK at it

Took me longer than I'd like to admit to kill that bad boy

Loving the artstyle! It looks really good. I feel like it would be even better if it was rendered at a lower resolution to make the pixel size more consistent, but Unity hates pixel art and makes it super hard to setup.

I also really like the use of the glasses, it fits super well into the game and the abilities are super fun to use (also the animations are great).

It's a bit of a bummer that the game is download only, as I feel like less people will get to play it because of it.

But anyways, great presentation, great job!

Thank you, I'm really glad you're enjoying the concept! What's your highscore?

Absolutely love the art and music! But mostly, this game is comedy gold. One could say in a way the final boss was my mum uh?

Favorite entry of the jam so far, my only problem with it was a little lack of polish, probably because the scope of the game was pretty big for the time you had. I managed to soft-locked myself a few times by getting out of bounds.

I really think if you were to turn that idea into a game with more polished entironment, if would be a gem.

Great job and you earned a follower!
