This was really fun to play. Great work!

Fantastic art and music! I also loved the story and musical puns. The fights felt a bit rigid, but otherwise, great work for a jam!

Great game, very well polished! The art, music, all the jokes and references, the intro and outro cutscenes, the gameplay, all of it worked together really well. I felt like the gameplay was well paced, and the upgrades felt meaningful and necessary to progress. I also enjoyed the little touches, like being able to adjust volume throughout, and being able to explore endlessly at the end!

This was so incredibly polished! Loved the art, the pirate theme, and definitely was getting some Vampire Survivors vibes from the gameplay. This looks like a complete game to me and I had a blast playing it. Well done!

Wow! Would be nice to be able to aim the blasts to add some strategy to the fighting system. (Or maybe to combine different types of weapons).

Lovely! The most complete game I saw so far. The music references, pirate style of narration and voice acting are really nice.

I agree with Aeon Felis about the cursor (it was sometimes difficult to understand what’s going on and controlling the ship). Also about blasting the music non stop. I mean it’s ok to blast it like that, but then what’s the F button for?

It would be a great improvement if the music blasted by the ship would be more interesting. Maybe the player could adjust different instruments separately and “compose” the music this way? Or dying monsters could emit different musical samples. IDK. Something in this direction :-)

It’s super impressive what you made in this short time. Bravo!

That was amazing! Way more than what I'd expect from a jam game. Took me forever to beat the last boss though, even with a maxed out ship.

Two things that bothered me:

  1. The cursor is really hard to see, which makes it hard to navigate and to shoot. I realize that that's just my regular cursor, but it would be nice if the game had it's own cursor that would stand out more.
  2. There seems to be no negative effect to always blasting music while at sea?

Really fun, but there are an improbably high number of octopi in the sea.

Really fun! Love the art style and the voice acting. Felt very polished. Captain Davy Bowie was pretty tough!
