Nice idea that the same storry happenes over and over again in the end. The characters where all cute designed and the sound is verry fitting the game.
Maybe you have the time to play and rate my game aswell.
Wish you the best of luck for the results :)
Of Course I'll Play Your Game, Thanks For Playing Mine It Means So Much To Me And Thanks For The Feedback :D
Nice game, but I think it need to add some mechanics. Or maybe just add boss-fight, and pre-boss fights.
Nice game. You handled pacing well with a mix of jumping challenges (with forgiving checkpoints - thank you!), and story sections. And you got a boss in there at the end. Overall I really liked it!
Thank you so much for playing my game and for your feedback, it means a lot to me :D
A great game with a lovely story, the last part was hard to understand in the beginning but after a few tries I got it :D
I loved the part that wen you died a lot in a path, the game helped you pass it :D
The game could have used some music, but else a great game :D
Thank for playing and for some great feedback, I totally forgot to make the boss fight intuitive :D
It was because the purple circle was only a tiny bit bigger than the player :P
Good point, it's hard to see XD
I can't launch the game :(
I'm sorry for that, did you get an error message or did it just not work at all?
Cool game and I liked the story. Overall, it is really good but the jumping felt too heavy in comparison with the speed of the character.
Yeah, movement was not great for this game i found out, thanks so much for your feedback though :D
very nice atmosphere and character design. i liked it a lot!
Thank you so much, it means a lot when someone plays my game :D
Very nice game! Loved the graphics and music. The boss fight was a little lack luster though.
Thanks so much for your feedback, You're definitely right..I rushed the boss fight on the last day
Very nice graphics and music. The save point feature was super nice! The player movement was a little rigid and hard to control. I also noticed an extra block appeared after I died in an area. Nice mechanic to make things more approachable for those of us who suck at platformers (me) but want to reach the end. Overall, this was a great submission.
Hehe, so you noticed the helping block? XD
Thanks for the feedback, movement is something I will have to practice more in and before I try my second game jam, thank you for taking the time to play my game and also great work on your own game, it was amazing and fun. Best of luck :D
I have been enjoying using Jams for trying new features. If you want to work on movement, you could incorporate that right into your next jam as your main focus! Last Jam I did (LD46), I was playing around with mouse controls and physics. This jam, I was focusing on dialog boxes (something I hadn't done before), animations (only got one done for player movement), and general practice with my art skills. You already had a lot of nice helpful features (the save points and helper block). You did very well, overall!
Thanks for the nice words, although this was my first game jam I'd made 100s of unfinished demos so I wanted to try something I've never done before so I tried making my first interactive story, I hope I'll get to see more of your games in the future :)
You did great! Its also nice to get a finished piece of work out there. It might not have all the features in the world, but its finished, and you did it!
Nice music and art. Just jumping felt like the character was too heavy.
Noted, thanks for the feedback.. jumping definitely needs to be reworked for this game, thank you so much for playing as well, it means a lot :D
I loved your game by the way, it was so fun and had an extremely well made difficulty curve
I liked the variety quirky characters. The sound effect when reaching checkpoints was really nice and satisfying, but the music is very short so it's kind of annoying. Cool twist in the end.
I'm glad you liked it, I wasn't super happy with the music I made either, I didn't think anyone would play long enough to reach the end so I'm happy my hard work and effort paid off, thanks so much for playing and I love your game so much :D
The music wasn't bad, it just needed to be a little longer. Nice work anyway!
Thanks friend, mind me asking if you preferred the homescreen song or the gameplay song more? :D
I liked the gameplay song more, it's very chill.
Okay thanks you for this, best of luck :D
Really enjoyed it. Loved the hollow knight easter egg.
My only suggestion would be to add a touch of coyote time to platforming for jumping as some ledges felt I pressed jump only to be slightly too late. Might just be me being bad though.
Thanks for the feedback, that's actually a great suggestion..the jumping is a little broken so it's not you, thanks for playing by the way..it means a lot :D
very neat player movement and text!!!
Thanks Ron, i was worried the movement was bit stilted :D
No problem! Its a game jam, so I would say everyone is being sort of lenient when it comes to grading other people's work. Just a wholesome community! In the meantime, would you mind checking out my game?
Sure can Ron!
Thanks!
this game is so adorable yet kind of creepy i love it ^^
Thank you so much, i'm so happy you liked it
