Really fun game. I loved playing through all the levels and was super excited when the translocator became a necessity. Unfortunately, there was only one level that needed it 😭 The art is really very very good, and the sfx, while minimal, add a lot to the game. This is definitely one of my favourites that I have played. Really wonderful job :)

Oh, and also, I've seen a few people like yourself use gifs as your thumbnails. How do you do that / how do you make them? It looks really cool 😁

I just made the Image with however many frames I wanted in Aesprite then exported it as a gif should be able to do it any any software you prefer though not too difficult

This was a decent game! Im unfamiliar with Sokoban but I can get the concept quite simply. I do have my criticisms though.

For one, it feels like the timer aspect is a bit arbitrary? Like, instead of the game being built around the timer you instead have a timer if that makes sense. As well, the upgrade system is a bit flawed. I noticed as you go through the game, one item you need incredibly badly after level 4 is the magnet. However, if you purchase no coin multipliers by the level you need the item, even resetting your upgrades wont give you much more than the magnet, leaving you without time to complete the level. I dont think many would make this mistake, but its still an oversight I fear. Also, the music stopped playing about once I hit level 5....

Other than that though, I had a good time with it! Its a decent puzzle game that had my brain going, and I cant imagine the Magnet nor teleporter are a part of the original Sokoban, and they were fun additions that added extra layers to each puzzle.

I wish there were more levels. More simpler levels at the beginning. There should also be procedural generation. Regarding time, there could be an option for a minimum time to complete the objective. More complicated levels to solve using all methods. The last level repeats itself, and there could be an option for you to win. The coin multiplier could be: 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048. There could be a phase of wearing football boots. The magnet could be: 15, 30, 45, 60. Box distance with the player. There could be more than one translocator.

I've never though a sokoban could work with an upgrade system, thats a really nice way of setting a level progression for a puzzle game.  The coin multiplier feels cheat but that is good as it allows you to examine the map with it a little bit before completing the level feeling richier lol.

edit: i wish there were more levels with the translocator!

Same haha I'm sad that we didn't get the chance to make more levels that require it because it adds such a fun layer of extra thought to the puzzles  - Maybe in a future update :D

Really fun gameplay! The puzzles in this one are a lot of fun, and very polished. I wish there were some more level mechanics maybe, and the translocator is also very underutilised, but the core concept are a lot offun, and I enjoyed every level! The coin multiplier is incredibly overpowered tho, you can easily get way more coins than you need by starting each level with it and then just reseting lol. Really enjoyed this one :D

Really fun puzzle game! The coin multiplier is also nice, as it lets you have excess coins if you are struggling with a level. Personally I wish the translocator got some more usage in the puzzles, but apart from that it was great.

I liked the upgrade concept. Being able to reset and try different upgrades was fun. The upgrades are well thought out with the levels in mind. Nice game!

The game was very fun to play, and well made for sure. One thing I'd point out is you can kind of cheese the upgrade system by resetting every level and buying the coin multiplier, then resetting again to beat the level after collecting all the coins. But overall,l very fun and one of the best submissions I've checked out so far.

Might be one of my favorite games I've played so far- The presentation is very nice- However the brilliance really is in clever use of resetting your upgdrades to go further. Truly great. I will say though that the coin multiplier upgrade while fun can lead to people getting softlocked because they don't start using it early enough. Despite that I had a great time and wish there was more I could play : D

That's the exact conclusion we had come to as well, the Coin Multiplier is fun to break the economy with but at some point its hard to make work. Probably would have omitted that from the game if we had to do it all over again.

Very clever upgrade system designed around the theme! At first, it was a bit unintuitive to reset upgrades to solve the puzzle, but I got my head around it, and it was an interesting play. Can't beat the 3rd level though... Anyway, good job!

The visuals for this game were clean and polished. It felt pretty retro. The music added to the frantic energy without being overwhelming. It was intuitive and being able to mix and match the upgrades to meet that time constraint were fun to solve. The levels themselves weren't the only puzzle. I wish there was more of a build up in difficulty for the levels so you had more time to accumulate coins. The timer goes by way too fast.


All in all it was a fun puzzle :)

Good idea to add a time limit constraint in a classic game mechanic. It might be a bit more forgiveness at the beginning of the game, to motivate players

Clever puzzles, totally addictive game play. Unfortunately, I found the timer just utterly unforgiving and couldn't get past the third stage. :)

I can agree it’s a bit difficult, was hard to balance because even 1 extra second made a lot of puzzles extremely easy.

Wish we had more time to balance, thought the game was due Sunday 😂
