Very relaxing atmosphere. The music/ambience is very well done. My only complaint is there should be a "fill button" to punch out an area you cut.

Nice game!
The sounds and music are relaxing, together with other elements make the game an enjoyable experience :)
Love it, what a nice idea! Music and ambient were so relaxing and I enjoyed making pumpkins haha. Congratulations, Nice work bro!
I appreciated the very different take on this one! The night toggle and the atmosphere were the best!
Very cool! It's always great to come across something very unexpected, like this.
Love the music and the surroundings, with the cat and the owl. And the way the candle flickers is subtle, but effective.
The way the saw works is a little counterintuitive. In real life, when you're using a tool that cuts all the way through, you can just cut an outline and the area surrounded by the outline will be removed.
I'm actually surprised I'm the only pumpkin carving game to be honest, I thought it would be a recurring theme :P
I've had similar comments for the saw, and I understand how the pumpkin in defying gravity by having chunks floating in mid-air, but this is mainly due to time and implementation constraint. If I was to restart the project from scratch, I would probably be able to implement it properly, but it would unfortunatly take a lot of work to make it work with the current setup.
Still I'm glad you enjoyed your experience :D
Wow, this game was very therapeutic and relaxing. Everything about the game really encapsulates the feeling of Autumn. From the game itself to the sounds to the little details happening in the background it all comes together to create a truly pleasant game experience!
This is so relaxing! I'm in love with the art style! Every little SFX is so satisfying, and the choice of music really fits the vibe! Congratulations!
Love this! The level of polish is amazing from the way the light dims and brightens at night to the little sound effect the bird plays when you click on him. Great!
I went into it knowing that I wanted the environment to carry part of the immersion, then it was just a question of how I wanted to implement it. The randomness of the different events helped make it feel more organic, I think that's really what ended up making it work :)
I'm glad you enjoyed your experience :D
P.S: I played your game on my stream if you're interested to see my reaction ;)
Excellent concept!
Animations and art-style were great and over-all enjoyable.
My only issues were that there was a little janky-ness with the cursor and pixel size which was a pain when using the shaver because those mistakes were impossible to fix (unless I missed an undo button)
Overall, fun game!
Such a great idea, 5-stars for creativity!
My only gripe is that each tool had the same pixel size. I expected the eraser to erase more than one pixel and the saw and shaver to have different shapes.
Love the animations - any game with a cat in it is worth playing imo. :)
Very well done game. I love the animations and the ability to take a picture of your results.
I think it would have been nice if when you cut out a piece it would simply fall out like a pumpkin would. that would be the only thing I was left wanting. Overall a very solid project. Way to go!
Thanks for playing!
I've toyed around with the idea of having chunks of pumpkin fall when it's not connected to anything anymore, but that ended up being too complicated for the initial implementation I had. I'll keep it in mind for future project where I can apply a similar effect and make sure to work it in the initial design. Thank for the suggestion :D
This is one of my faves. Relaxing, cute, great atmosphere, good use to the day/night toggle. Very enjoyable.
