Yeah, definitely, a classic case of "I wish I had just a little more time... and then a little more on top of that" haha. Glad you liked it, sorry the panning wasn't clear (at all), in coming jams I'm gonna try to be a bit more efficient, lol! The UI library I used was something I was already working on, maybe I should make some libraries for general software and games making, to make jams a little easier.

One bug I experienced is that, in fullscreen, the zoom buttons in the lower right corner don't align visually to their apparent boxes. It seems like the zoom in button box occupies the right half of the zoom in button visual, and the zoom out button box occupies the left half of the zoom IN button visual. It seems like the scaling for the "mouse inside rect" does not match the scaling for the visual buttons.
Another bug I encountered was backspacing to undo did not fully undo a paint operation. It seemed that portions of a paint operation was immune to undo if it was inside a stamp.
One last bug, I'm not sure if it is, was that on Windows 7 (feel free to ignore this one lol), the "fullscreen" was actually just fullscreen windowed, not fullscreen proper.
A comprehensive experience for sure! So many levels, lol! Very engaging, and honestly? Very satisfying. I haven't played factorio or satisfactory, but I imagine this is very much in that genre. If this was intentional, you nailed it. Very impressive!
Edit: I also REALLY appreciate that I can go to a menu and close the app, lol!
A very well made example of a reflections game, and it was certainly challenging! It has a great feel, very smooth despite the iteratively reflective nature of the game. I think it could have done with a bit more polish in the UI, some things were a little unclear, but super fun nonetheless.
Definitely fits the theme, lol!
Gosh! That's a little too fun lol! I started playing and then suddenly the sun was up! It's very smooth, and playable. The camera moves just right, and the controls are very tight. The balance is a bit off, though, lol. I found that, quite quickly, I could upgrade my special attacks to a point where they would replenish their own charge% to full while being used, and thus could be used infinitely.
Other than that, a very nice little game that I could see myself REALLY playing... playing too much! lol!
Not really my kind of game, and I'm not entirely sure it honours the theme, though it is clearly includes elements of shapes. I rate it 3/5 stars for "adherence".
Other than that, my goodness what a complete game! Very cohesive experience, and a lovely UI. A story, combat and exploration, this is very comprehensive.
One small gripe, it is a bit of an audio bomb, I had to turn system volume WAY down to 2 out of 100.
Anyway, very cool! Very complete!
It's a shame the emscripten version didn't work, it appears to be a failure of the generated HTML, it didn't seem to point to any wasm assets, nor were any wasm assets loaded.
As for the game, the hit detection was a bit wonky, but other than that quite a fun little shoot'em up! I like that the player is a flying machine, but also a penguin, lol!
Very cool! Basically professional! Some things were a bit confusing like when you have to give the monkeys multiple bananas on levels that were similar to previous levels (I think it was level 8 that looked like level 2 but a slightly different objective). I did notice that when a monkey is satisfied, it sits contently, and this was enough for me to figure it out lol.
But mostly, very cool!
That's very fair. I did try Nuitka, unfortunately it required that Windows SDK be installed in my Visual Studio... even though it was. The classic problem, lol. I have since tried "pyinstaller" and I can say that I can now provide an .exe file. I've updated the provided files, and the Executable download is an archive with an .exe file!
I hope you re-try!
