Very Original. I cheated and took a reference photo of the blueprint.

I think it probably should start wit ha very simple pattern, and you can quickly learn to remember it as a sequence of numbers for how far in each row needs to be, but until I started doing it with the blueprint side by side that didn't occur to me and I was trying to do it from a memory of the picture.

Sound Effects Are Amazing

This is a really good looking game, I like that the background and foreground are very consistent with each other, and the style of the game generally. It can be so easy to get fixated in a jam, but this feels very evenly complete. Very cool! Reminds me of highschool, lol!

Thanks !

This was a fun game, and also a pretty difficult one! I kept a printscreen of the blueprint on my second monitor to help out. Great job and cool idea! I also liked the consistent art style and the nice touch with the particles.

Thanks! Ive been getting mixed opinions from my friends and others with the blueprint being either tedious/difficult to remember or it being too easy to just count a couple layers depths and count the layers cut out. Pretty hard to get the balance right I suppose. Maybe I could make it so you could mark a blueprint square and it would show a highlighted square overlayed on the block where you need to carve to?

Yeah, finding the right balance in games so it fits everyone can be tricky. What about offering an 'Easy' mode where the blueprint stays visible at all times? This way you are not compromising your original design.

Wonderful, simply brilliant. Well done, this is a great concept! Did I win :p

Haha if you copied the shape from the blueprint and click the submit shape button on the sign on the left side of the screen it will give you an accuracy rating, if its 100% you win ;)

I perfer my shape ;) 😉

This is awesome! Love the green guy in the corner lol. I've been following your development updates in the discord server so I was looking forward to playing this one. Really cool take on the theme!!!

This has turned out great. The rotating wooden block is really effective. I would like to be able to put the blueprint up on the "wall" .. or at least a less detailed version of it to save swapping backwards and forwards.

(and best yet, you're all set for next year if the theme if a rotating donna kebab fits the theme!)

 Well done :)

I considered some way of leaving the blueprint visible whilst carving, but i couldnt figure out a way of doing it that would fit in the framing of the workshop. I think swapping between the blueprint adds an element of memory though, so whilst a bit tedious i think it adds some depth to the process :)

Hahaha I thought the same about the wood texture making it look like a donner kebab but i didnt really have much more time to fix it since making it scrollable was already really hard to learn xD

Really cool idea and visuals! It's a really simple concept but surprisingly difficult in practice.
