Thanks! I ran out of time to instructions, but included how to play in the game page .. I'll do something better post jam. In the meantime, I've added some pumping music - and I've also added an additional health boost when you level up. Let me know what you think if you get a chance to check it out again :)
I love this game - absolutely brilliant. And well done for making it into the GMTK video too.
(If you are looking to do more on this, I think there is a minor bug when your castle gets high - some of the rooms disappear as you put them on the board. I saw this a few games in a row when I was getting to around c. level 70+)

This is seriously mind bending!! Took me a while, but I was pleased to finish (and a nice twist in the last level - no spoilers). It felt really satisfying to work out myself what "adding shapes" means.
BTW, I probably found Washington Monument the hardest, as it was adding it in a way I wasn't expecting .. although I've just spotted it is one of your screenshots, so that would have been a helpful clue at the time!! :)
Well done

I enjoyed this - well done! The controls took some thinking .. but I go there after a few trials. If you plan to continue to develop this, it would be great to have a bit more user feedback when there is a calculation in progress, and also it may be that you could do a preview mode that only does finite recursion but updates quicker (I know the download is much quicker, but I can only run the web version). I'd be interested to see how this continues to develop if you share on the Discord :)

This is an interesting concept, and using the shapes as a way to control the size of each type of building adds an additional layer of strategy - eg, I saw cases where I could get proportionally more wood depending on the size of the shape.
I would have benefited from some more detailed instructions on how to play, and what my end game was - eg, I had a few goes and built up some understanding of the building types, but I couldn't work out whether there was a way to build synergies between buildings, or how to get the mine to score. That said, the numbers at the bottom left were a very helpful guide.
Well done, and good luck if you plan to continue to develop this post jam :)
Great work. Really smooth satisfying movement and a big play area. I enjoyed the "OLC screen" easter egg :)
If you are thinking of doing more with this, I would love to heard some sfx, and see some particles etc. It would also be great not to immediately regen the enemies when you exit a screen - there were a few times where the exit was effectively one-way, as the enemies hit you too quickly on returning to the previous screen.
Well done
