Nice work, great proof of concept to give the idea of UI / look & feel of the game. It's a game jam entry, so issues like balance are not really a concern (and if it was to be made difficult, would definitely need a tutorial, which you would not have had time to add). There are many directions this could go, depending of where you want to take it. The pseudo 3D rendering was a a nice touch, once I realised I could pan!

Developer

Yeah, definitely, a classic case of "I wish I had just a little more time... and then a little more on top of that" haha. Glad you liked it, sorry the panning wasn't clear (at all), in coming jams I'm gonna try to be a bit more efficient, lol! The UI library I used was something I was already working on, maybe I should make some libraries for general software and games making, to make jams a little easier.

Very cool game! I love these defense type games. I got to the point where I had way more credits than I needed and was able to survive after leaving the game running for like an hour haha.

Nice work!!!

Lol I'm glad you liked it. Cool to see another poisson noise enjoyer, by the way lol! Thanks for rating!

Edit: Also, yes, the difficulty could do with some balancing, lol! I didn't quite have time for that after spending so long on everything else haha

There was no executable and I am not installing Python. Sorry.

I am sure the game was cool

That's very fair. I did try Nuitka, unfortunately it required that Windows SDK be installed in my Visual Studio... even though it was. The classic problem, lol. I have since tried "pyinstaller" and I can say that I can now provide an .exe file. I've updated the provided files, and the Executable download is an archive with an .exe file!

I hope you re-try!
