Ooh unique and fun! Always wanted to be the annoying little @*!t in a mission haha. Managed to get 3 of 4 endings - I assume the 4th is kill all the guards successfully? But I couldn't find any more guards and going into the cave gets the good ending, I may have missed something (got: Good ending, You Died, Your Hero Died in that order)
Awesome game, great presentation, lots of fun :) GL in the jam!
Haha, tenuously! The core idea I guess is "In RPGs you always hurt/kill the monster... what if you were supposed to heal them instead, after a "hero" has already come through and "defeated" them" - it didn't quite get to shine in the demo, will hopefully be more clear in the post-release version. Thank you for playing! ^_^
Omg addictive gameplay! The wibbly "drunken" blocks are a mindscrew haha, Love this take on reverse tetris! Levels seem to be learnable which is cool but I'm wondering if there would also be scope for a like, constrained procgen version too for infinite levels, that might cause too many impossible levels states tho. Anyway yeah loved this, graphics, sound, gamefeel all lovely <3
Thank you for your comments and suggestions, I'm glad you liked the concept ^_^. A lot of the stuff is default RPGMaker, the actual non-planning part of the project happened in ~3 hours so a lot of the ancilliary stuff from the engine ended up making it in, hoping to polish this up and release it for the post-jam-jam :). Thanks again, good luck with your game too, it's great!
Gosh, graphics! Lots of fun, absolutely killed my regular laptop so had to move over to the gaming PC to run it at >1fps xD. Feels a bit like walking in treacle even when running but I guess that's the point, you're not the hero after all! Plus points: you get to play as cute gorl :3. Also I approached the group out of town with the gold and weps and I think I like... turned into a monster? and then the game froze xD. Had a lot of fun, would love to play more when polished :D
Thanks! I do like to go the narrative route when I can :) plus a case of matching skills to the jam hah, this one ended up being a bit of a rush so I'm happy with how it came out so far, hopefully will flesh out the story a bit more now that the jam rush is over and the recontextualising will make a bit more sense xD
