Great storytelling! Those NPCs look so gross and dangerous! I found the yellow text a little hard to read, but it is late and my old eyes are tired... Haha... A printer friendly version would be a great post-jam addition.

The labels on the map could be about 2X larger without obstructing anything, so consider making them bigger to improve readability at a glance.

I can't WAIT for shore leave!!

It is legit so hard to give you actionable feedback because your trifolds pack in so much atmosphere and setting and are so polished. I genuinely don't know what I would improve for a trifold, other than to say that you should definitely expand this into a full on booklet module of terror and Merit! :) Bravo!

WIP is a good start! Looking forward to the post-jam full version. :) I believe in your ideas!

Love this - reminds me of all the useless characters that get murdered by aliens at some point in the movie about the stuff. :P

The blue bar at the bottom of the pamphlet's first / outer page is a bit jarring compared to the rest of the colors - it might be interesting if you made it one big stain like the coffee mug stain on the inside of the trifold. Misspelling of "Archtype" (missing e) on the last panel (middle of page 1). Very internally consistent, and well written!

Consider adding a printer friendly version as post-jam polish. Well done!

Lots of tools here for making interesting encounters with the church! You have a player class, some artifacts, a mysterious missing deity, a plague...! So much in such a small space, and it is still very readable. One spelling mistake I noticed: "memebership" - unless that was intentional re: the church spreading memes as propaganda.

"Hey, doesn't this look exactly like the INSIDE of a skull?" "Uh, Jimmy... how would any of us know what that looks like?" "Oh, uh... never mind..." YIIIKES. Even that conversation alone would be creepy. The still-definitely-alive embryo thing as the players walk deeper into the cavity of what used to be a massive creature? Creepy doesn't even cut it. Wow!

Great / horrific concept, with lots of detail. The background is fun, but please increase the opacity of the boxes behind the text to make it a bit more legible.

As post-jam polish, consider adding a printer friendly version without the background, or with a zoomed in and B&W version of the background.

Great art! I was unclear if the interior spread was a map or not. Some spelling mistakes, including a character name in the "Escape" section on panel 6. The pops of color are a nice touch, and the layout as it is is very printer friendly. Nice!

I really like the modern day Midas-as-a-virus theme! Faceless gold statues attacking the players is scary AF! The timeline section could benefit from having actual times on it instead of descriptions like "two hours after XYZ". For colorblind players please consider changing the Hawthorne X to a different symbol that is uniquely identifiable.

As always, making a post-jam printer friendly version would be a great upgrade for the project.

This looks fantastic! Having a printer friendly version would be a useful upgrade. Otherwise, the concept is thoroughly detailed and there are lots of options for the players and the GM to explore the concept in ways that speak to them.

The printer friendly option looks great! The letter on the back is fun, though the image on the inner flap makes the text a little hard to read there. Well done!

Great idea, lots going on here! A printer-friendly version (ie black text on white background) would be nice. Also, the 1d20 table might need to be cut down for printing, as the text is quite small.

I would be delighted to hear more about your predicament and how a SAM was able to be of service in your time of need. :

Lol. I think it looks great for a butt chin. Which usually looks like butts. Haha.

I'm hoping that the satire nature of this means it won't incur any copyright concerns. If it does, I'll draw it by hand and I think that's enough? 🤔

Twas a quick morning project that I had been thinking about for a while but never done anything about, so I can do better I just didn't hAve the time. 😅👍

Glad you enjoyed my weird brain stuff!

Ooh, fancy!! Now featured on Man Alone:

I have followed the link, and it is a circle of links with no downloads that I can see for the actual campaign setting. The top of this page just has two links, and the top link has all of the adventures, but clicking on the campaign guide just leads back here.

This page:

Page above leads to this page, and the campaign setting links here just go back to the page above. No campaign guide download, though.

Great ideas, I appreciate your enthusiasm! Yeah, for most of the trifold pamphlets I made last year I had way more ideas than could fit on a single page, but I was using the various game jams as artificial deadlines to actually get something on paper and shipped. I should join one of those jams that let you extend an existing game to force me to work on version 2. 😅👍

Haha. Great point, I'll see about planning a revision to make that change. 👍

Thanks for letting me know it wasn't TOO light for your tastes. I wanted to do more than just a vending machine, so I enjoyed adding a bit of personality to it, as well as some chances to use these abandoned vending machines to get up to no good.

Me too - who doesn't need an afternoon Stimpak pick-me-up or a Pulse Rifle at 2am once all the regular stores are closed? Handy for all those exploring the galaxy. SAM takes just a teensy little bit of the horror out of the sci-fi horror that is Mothership.

Color version of this pamphlet is now available!

Great! Let me know if you think the room weaknesses liven things up, or make it too easy! 🤔

Very clear! The art elevates an already awesome trifold. Excellent graphic design, and an intricate, but wholly understandable, monster-of-the-week!

This is a gorgeous trifold! The layout is very clear, and the art adds to the theme.

Wow, I REALLY appreciate all the time you put into making B&W versions as well as colour AS WELL AS A4+Letter versions. This is truly a finished product!

Love the clean lines on the map! A nice break for the eyes, haha!

I was waiting for baby-faced Cillian Murphy to jump out and save the day the whole time!

The art and clean layout elevates this so much! I love that the spaceship line art in the background is visible, but light enough that it doesn't get in the way of the readability. Well done (pun intended)!

The Spacewalk is brutal and awesome, and the Ship Stress Table is very trope-y in all the best ways!

Great cover art - The Dream looks spooky in pink silhouette! Love the new faction ideas, and the "You're OP and also you're probably dead now" approach to this Darkstar worship! Very cool!

Very nice cover art!

Great way to pack in a ton of information in a trifold! I would love to see a player handout with just the map and no text, just to clarify what the players are looking at.

Thanks!

As per the title, the discord links have expired.

I love the look of this for playing on a screen - any chance you could remove the backgrounds to make a slightly more printer-friendly version?

Thanks for making awesome stuff!

FYI: The OnlyOffice File link is giving me a 404 today.

No rush at all, I love the game as it stands. But also am old school and want a printed copy. 😅

Happy holidays, and best wishes for 2025!

I totally get it - I'm an army of one, myself, and not all of my stuff is as accessible as I'd like yet.

Too many ideas, too little time!!

Thanks for your reply, looking forward to all of your new content in 2025!

Wow, that was so fast!! You're amazing to work on this at such a busy time of year for most people. Thank you for your diligence!! 🙌

I'll check it out from my computer later!

This game is so awesome!! Could you please make a low-ink / printer-friendly version that doesn't have the coloured background?

Hi! This is a super fun idea! Would you be able to create a low-ink / printer-friendly version of the documents? I'm old school, and like to print my games and keep them in a gaming binder. (^_^)

This looks super cool, I can't believe how detailed this book is! Nicely done!

Also, would you be able to remove the page border to make a low-ink / printer friendly version of this? That would be awesome! (^_^)
