It does not work :/

The +

- lots of content

- The game has really been refined

-I really like music

- The menu is quite complete, it's cool to have access to the keys directly on the game and in a readable way

- the layout of the rooms and the variety of rooms

- An intro cinematic

- I like cloud jumping (yellow ball)

The -

- Little variety of decorations, Plain backgrounds

- bug when you punch while hanging on the wall you see the wind effect but not the punch

- The text is strongly stuck to the contours of the frames


Red block does not cause damage to wolves? (I tried to ambush them)

Good experience, unfortunately I misclicked when I wanted to use the rock and I left the page ;’)

Wow, really good job!

The character is super dynamic (logical for a pile x))

Good platform ideas (I like balance platforms)

There is history, there is life (walking, NPC, story)

I'm dead, but I'll definitely go back to it after testing other people's games ;)

really good metroid vania

The robot is cute, but the movement is too rigid and slow.

With his glove, I have the impression that at any moment he could snap his fingers and make half of humanity(or cactus) disappear  x)

The +

- Whoa the camera is dynamic!

- Character control, attack and ability: cool

- Nice to be able to choose your difficulty

- A map, great!

- Multiple bumps

- Some graphical bugs

- The tree can be killed quite easily by sticking to it

The+

- be able to play with the controller

- there are save points

- Interesting attempt at a labyrinth, nice decorative elements and reliefs, it's good to have filled the rooms

The-

- A save in front of the fireballs: if you die you reappear in a loop in front of the lava balls and you die

- exept for the gun, an a little musique, no sfx

- Gamefeel can be improved, our character is too floating

I like the scorpion and its atk, nice to have an NPC. Some bugs, a scorpion that gets stuck on a small platform. No music. It could be nice to be able to harvest the 'sapphire beetle' crystal, and bring this harvest back to the man we see at the beginning, who could offer objects, loot or abilities, etc.

For a game released in a panic, you did well, you will certainly do better next time.

Courage, it’s by making mistakes that we learn and progress, can’t wait to see what happens next ;)

The +

- I like the idea of the water elemental which can play with its 3 states

- Very ''fluid'' animations of the characters x)

- I like the mechanics of watering the little water element

- Different handling depending on the character

The -

- Time lag between the moment we receive the fatal blow and our death

- Characters too rigid and too slow

- a map would be a good idea, especially to find the flesh horn

So, there's a lot left to be improved here with game feel, but it's a cool begining ;) 

 

The +

the gun is funny

there is a boss, nice that the necromanician regenerates and we can take advantage of it

The -

- the flag pole is the same color as the bottom of the cave

- you can kill the magician at his position right above him

- the doors, except the main one, have problems : red doesn't work and exit crashes the game

nice little game, I freed the cat, im' a nice person now <3

I finished the game, very good experience, my feedback

The +

- Original, I like the concept and there are some very good ideas

- Improvements in other forms of awesome tetriominoes

- Good use of the 5 powers, used well to adapt to several situations

- The description of the power on the cubes very effective! (PUSH. SAFE, FIRE, etc.)

- I like FIRE, since the tetriomino looks like a ship, I like it <3

- Good ideas in building puzzles

- Good tutorial area, we understand the mechanics quite easily

- Teleporters are good so you don't have to re-travel

- Reference to old games like pong, space invader, etc. nice

The -

- Heavy, slow and rigid movements + the noise that is present with each of our 'steps'

- Bug: I can pass the laser zone without the cube, with the bar (which creates a soft lock because you can't go back)

- Bug: I died in the Space Invader zone and the death sfx was playing in a loop. When I die, the bug disappears

- Bug: the buffer is automatically activated in each room once the power is unlocked


Are the gifts useful for anything (I got 3)? Is it just me or are there switch noises everywhere xD?!

It's a game that has been very well thought out, and the new abilities are well exploited. One of my favorites of the jam at the moment... NICE <3

The +

- The character movement is correct

The - 

- the tutorials are aimed at PC and controller players, which is a good point...  But after that, there are no more tutorials for controller players

- No UI

- No sound, no music

- Blurry and too repetitive texture, empty environment

- Graphics bugs, giant foot that appears for no reason ?


We feel that the development was complicated, generally 3D is more complicated, it is not easy to manage it alone so respect despite everything

The+

-  The projectile is cool - funny comments on slimes

The-

- The respawn is weird, it could be nice to make it appear in magic for example (using the symbol of magic for example)

- Be careful with tilesets, there are holes

- There are areas where you can be safe in the peaks (spaces too big between each peak)

- Magic is difficult to recover, encourages avoiding enemies rather than confronting them

- A little medieval or cave music (royalty free) in place of the wind

In conclusion, in reality it could give something nice, 'Never ...

The +

 The intro is very well managed!

- The tone of the story is consistent, funny without going overboard, and has a good 80' vibe (a TV classic that inspires our hero). I really like the design of the skeletons

- Very pretty, I like the enemies and the animations work very well, objects well highlighted, etc.

- Cool Chicken Boss

- I love the chicken throwing attack <3 

The -

- 'x' for jump and 'space' for the menu, I don't find it ergonomic. I reflexively press space to jump (I'm not a keyboard player)

- Boss chicken can be killed quite easily if you stick him you can make his chickens explode on him and chain him quite easily. He could peck us with his beak or his wings to inflict damage on us or push us away. 

- No Respawn after the chicken boss

In summary, very good experience, looking forward to seeing more!

Great game, I had fun ^^

The+

- A frog... which jumps... indiana jump, simple effective

- Indie the frog is well animated and cute, the mummy is cool too 

- Clear and fun tutorial, parodying the warnings is a good idea (the 'sorry...' x))

- Camera work - Game with a beginning, middle and end. can be finished quite easily in about 15-20 minutes 

- the mummy's resolution is funny 

The -

- Small bug when the frog jumps and picks up an object, it blocks the jump animation (removes when I jump again)

Given the way the burial hall is built, could we have stolen the chick's night light and escaped ? 

The +

- I see that you tried to do everything by yourself, it’s a good initiative 

- good choice for engine

The -

some mistakes to avoid: 

- The text is not very visible: you have to put it in a dialog bubble, put in a color that stands out (black)

- We see objects, it makes us want to interact with them, but it’s not possible

- it’s very yellow, TOO yellow. Putting a floor of a different color or texture will make the game look less 'flat'.

- Don't hesitate to use assets (crediting of course) so you can concentrate more on level design and programming

The +

- Having the choice to forgive or not and having that change the path we can take is a good idea!

- I like the original 'walljumpprojectiles'.

- Being able to play as an angel who might find us interesting could make for a cool story.

The -

- There's no title or image for the game 

- Very rigid character and control

- It does feel like a prototype

- I go to items with neutral/good/bad endings but you can't activate them 

- I was able to reach the good, the neutral but not the bad end, I didn't manage to reach it

Being able to play an angel who might find us interesting could make for a nice story. With a bit of writing it could be a question of Why we make the decision to forgive or not (a bit like paper please, why we let this person through and not another). 

Like, depending on our choices, the angel could become "fallen" if he condemns everyone, and so on. 

I'm waiting to see what happens next ;)

The game won't run on my computer

'The following component(s) is/are required to run this program:Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime'.

Jumping is the main mechanic of the game and it lacks polish, you feel a lack of satisfaction in controlling the jump.

It's an idea that could lead to something interesting  

For example, by having the ability to double, triple or quadruple jump! Not being able to control the direction of your jump or, on the contrary, managing the strength and/or length of your jump, etc... 

In short, lots of possibilities to make it fun ;)

i've tested, there's my feedback

The +

- The character is very manoeuvrable and fun to handle 

- The pixel art is pretty

- Effort put into creating a story

- Playable with the joystick 

The -

- If I click with the mouse, the game freezes (menu)

- When you die, there's no respawn, so you have to restart the game

- You can be killed during dialogue with the monkey 

- Impossible to skip dialogues (annoying when you restart the game) 


The images presenting the game are really beautiful, but I can't see where to go. Maybe a map can help?

The +

- There's a cover image

- Willingness to create several attacks for the boss (a boss is not easy to make and it takes time) 

- godot is a good engine

The - 

- Bug: Enemies don't fall: they run into the void

- No music or sound effects

- The tutorial sentence goes by very quickly, so there's no time to read it (+ remember to set the sentence to English by default, not Italian). 

- The boss has no reaction when you stand in front of him, so depending on how you position yourself, you can easily attack him.

- After one death, I got stuck in the fire (the 2nd one). 

- After the end of his life bar, no death, or continuation of the game.


I can see that it's been a bit of a struggle, but at least you made it to the end and published it. I hope it wasn't too horrible an experience and that you were able to learn a lot ^^. 

Nice game from what I've been able to test, here's my feedback

The + 

- The respawn is fun and inventive.

- Graphics: scenery, character, monster, really cool. 

- Having a 'mouth' place and an 'ear' place makes it easier to find your way around.

- Weapon: satisfying to improve your vacuum cleaner, swallowing walls is fun. Vacuuming to spit projectiles at enemies is a good idea.

The - 

- From a player not used to the keyboard: I find clicking on the mouse to eject projectiles impractical. Maybe better if close to the E key.

- Some platforms are too small to avoid falling off.

- Lacks some sound feedback, such as 'juicy' footsteps, when opening the menu, when dialogs scroll, etc. 


I would have liked to continue the game but unfortunately I had to stop against the snail boss because I couldn't ^^'.

Maybe ask the organizer if you can put it on (even if I think it's a bit late) because even if it has flaws, it's a shame not to be able to test it.
