Man, congrats for your attempt, naturally I understand you worked with your sister, and you guys certainly are on the begin of your journey as a game devs.
You should to be proud of yourself, you create a level, did the player controller, the range attack and some animations. Keep studying and making games, soon you will have some products much more complex than this one.
thanks!
That hat puts Indiana Jones to shame.
lol thanks
This is a decent game. I like the theme & charm of the dialogue. I see potential if you continue to develop it post-jam. Here are some suggestions to improve the game.
Thanks for the feedback!
I like the scorpion and its atk, nice to have an NPC. Some bugs, a scorpion that gets stuck on a small platform. No music. It could be nice to be able to harvest the 'sapphire beetle' crystal, and bring this harvest back to the man we see at the beginning, who could offer objects, loot or abilities, etc.
For a game released in a panic, you did well, you will certainly do better next time.
Courage, it’s by making mistakes that we learn and progress, can’t wait to see what happens next ;)
Thanks for the feedback and kind words!
Hey for a last minute game this isn't too bad! The particles that come off when you're running really make it feel dustier and sandier. I think the player had a good weight to him and it felt good jumping around. That was a big scorpion! Good stinging animations
Thanks for the feedback and kind words!
Awesome!
We are also a sibling duo and also made a Dino game. Congrats on making a fun experience last minute.
Thanks, we'll be sure to check out yalls submission
You guys got a lot of interesting art in for just last minute! And the gameplay works - nice!
I wasn't able to make much progress however, and I felt a bit limited by my inability to attack the enemies. Maybe there was an upgrade coming my way that would have given me some abilities, but I never found it.
I understand the combat system's clunky... I'll keep that in mind. Though, thanks for the feedback, and kind words!
