Really good game nicely polished!
I like the concept using dice to choose your stats at the beginning. I do think there needs to be a way to change your stats during your descent, otherwise players with just restart until they get a good roll.
Great job on submitting such a good game to the jam its not an easy task! :)
This game was very fun! I like the use of the dice theme!
Rolling is a defensive mechanic but also swaps up your playstyle by changing your weapon very innovative. The animations and voices are very cute! My only complaint is some of the enemies are quite tough like the ladder despite upgrading my damage twice.
Great work submitting to the jam very fun game!
Also thank you for checking out my game I appreciate it its a struggle to get ratings in such a large game jam! :)
Nice work on submitting to the jam its not an easy task!
I like the concept of your game! The weapons feel quite satisfying to shoot the sound effects help a lot with this! Enemies however didn't feel very satisfying to hit because there was no indication I was hitting them because I couldn't see the bullet when shooting and there were no hit markers. I'm still not sure how to consistently spawn the enemies. The wave counter kept going up but no enemies spawned
I like the concept it just needed more time! Again nice work on submitting to the jam its not an easy task! :)
Really well made game very polished! I enjoyed this a lot!
One thing that jumped out at me straight away was the sound, I enjoyed rolling dice through multiple enemies to hear that satisfying dice hit sound. Upgrades are simple but effective. I liked how the number rolled on the dice added more damage or number of explosions.
I have no other feedback because the game is just good! Nice work submitting such a good game to the jam! :)
I enjoyed playing your game despite its difficulty!
I like the concept of your game! Place down traps to stop the other racers giving you an advantage.
However the controls for the car do let down the experience. I lost most of the time because the car was too hard to control anyway.
Good job on submitting a game to this jam though its not an easy task! :)
Very good game! Innovative concept!
I have some feedback. I found that the game moved slightly too quickly for me to look at all the numbers then react to which one I want to roll for so I ended up just spamming the WASD keys until everything died. If the attack was instead a number squares that lit up in the direction you are rolling based on the number that damaged any dice on those squares the game might have more strategy.
Take my feedback with a grain of salt of course! I enjoyed my time playing it definitely one of the more innovative concepts I've discovered so far in the jam!
Nice work! A nicely polished game! I enjoyed it!
I have some feedback about the dice mechanic, I like how it dictates how much money you have to spend but my cash went negative multiple times and I couldn't crawl out of it.
What if the dice was a multiplier that increased your cash but upgrades got more expensive? It would let the player interact with the game more because having negative cash doesn't let you interact with the game enough.
It would also be cool if the enemy tower had its own stats that changed, so then player would have to choose upgrades based on the enemy towers stat increases.
Take my feedback with a grain of salt because I know these suggestions are probably outside the scope of the jam! The game I made for the jam is actually somewhat similar I really like this concept.
You made an awesome game that you should be proud of!
Awesome game concept!!
Art is incredible. Puzzle design amazing.
The only criticism I have is the dice mechanic could have been implemented in a different way. The dice mechanic in this game hurts the experience because you would always roll to get the correct number anyway. What if you could choose how many spaces you move then the dice is a multiplier that re-rolled each time you moved? The player would have to make different choices on how many spaces to move based on the multiplier.
Overall awesome game you guys should be proud of it!!
Good work! Your game feels very responsive, your animations are satisfying and your art style is awesome!
I enjoyed playing your game however I have some feedback to give you.
I like the concept of a character that can spit out dice to control the level around them. However passing a level was purely chance as doors need the right dice and lasers could kill you if you rolled the wrong number. I feel if the number on the dice influenced the stages hazards and platforms rather than getting the right number to toggle something on or off the game would be more fun and engaging for the player. For example what if whichever number you rolled influenced how quick the lasers turn on and off or how fast platforms move?
Overall a very solid game it just needs more meaningful interactions with the player!
I would like to add my game to the supporters list - https://coconuttimtam.itch.io/fred-lost-in-space
Good job Snitty you made a game! Although its not very fun and the level design is...minimalistic. Yet I respect this game because it drew peoples attention! Good job on getting so many comments and ratings with an incomplete game. I was 15 not long ago I know its hard starting out making games but you'll get there.
Hey cubehero. After playing other peoples game jam games I definitely thinks yours fits the theme well you didnt mess up. I think I was a little too quick to judge your game. I'm starting to get confused about what is a good game and what is a bad game hahaha. Most games I've played so far have had good and bad elements to make it "so good its bad". I think your game is one of those. Don't worry you didn't fail.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the game! I know the level you are talking about it is really difficult, I might have made it too difficult. The shooting guys bullets are hard to avoid! You got really close to the end of the game though! Thank you for taking your time to play it thoroughly I appreciate it!
This game is amazingly bad and good at the same time. I loved the controls it made the games platforming challenging! The atmosphere was great I felt abandoned. I searched and searched for a home yet in the end I found nothing except and endless green plain! (is the endless green plain part of the game?) . This is a most excellent entry
Hmm very interesting. This game is really good, I cant find anything bad about it! I like the use of the theme cyberpunk. I like how the gameplay changes from a point and click into a platformer. To be honest I will have to sit down for a few hours and play this game thoroughly. The only problem I had with the game was the text changes too fast, I didnt get enough time to read it some of the dialouge.
I found the concept very interesting! Suprising amount of strategy! Great level design! its more good than bad actually! It would be great if it had a story for example this could be a backstory to how video game enemies respawn! This is a good entry and respect for making a 3D game.
Also I cant tell whether the movement is bad on purpose or its just input lag.
A cyberpunk puzzle platformer?

Thank you for taking your time to play my game and thank you for you very detailed comment. I completely agree with you the gameplay is bland.
After the game jam I might(if I have time):
- Add some different obstacles and maybe even a boss fight.
- Add a tutorial
-Slow down the animations
-Make the player Sprite static
-Make a title screen
-Add some audio
