Feels very polished, and shrinking reminds me a lot of Minish Cap, super cool!

Neat! Interesting premise and great use of the theme. I found the contrast between the black and white background and colorful attacks to be a clever way to have visual clarity.

Very interesting take on the theme, and a cool mechanic that's well designed. The art style is great too. Well done!

Very fun and polished. Everything works super well, good stuff

Yeah I agree falling can be a bit too punishing especially when I accidentally slip between waves right after getting upgrades or something, so ultimately I just added a bandaid fix of letting the player restart at the current wave, getting thrown back up would be good too though. Thanks for the feedback!

A simple idea but well executed. Pretty cool and gets hard very fast 😂

This one is gonna be hard to beat for me, such a unique idea. Very well designed and the polish is great too. All the mechanics just works so well with one another. Sound design, controls and game feel are all great too.

I really like the slime sprites and the vibes, the tutorial at the start is a great touch. It's a little too difficult for me, but once I figured out the bite attack I was able to get the flower to like 50% HP, but that was the best I could do😅

Love the neon look and the voiceovers were great 😆

It's not too hard so I was able to beat it first try, which is something I appreciate. It's pretty cozy and reminds me of old flash games i would play back in the day.

Cool game, enemy ships get hard to hit when they're small but i think maybe that's what you were going for with this theme? Either way, it's always great to see ascii games

Wow what a great entry, definitely going to my one of my favorite in this jam. I appreciate the difficulty settings as im not very good myself, and i was able to get to 60k-ish score on easy, which is good enough for me right now.

Once i get some sleep i am gonna come back to beat this game, and try out 2 player mode too. The "stutter" on the animation compliments the aesthetics a lot, and its quite a unique look.

Amazing👍👍👍

Great aesthetics with the style and choice of music. I just wish it was faster pace at the start a little bit. But I can appreciate the upgrades being at the same location so know how I can get them when I missed it at first.

Oof I almost had it first try but that boss is hard. The visuals and the shrinking shuriken mechanic are simple but clean. Well done 👍

Great game, awesome visuals. Making sushi is really satisfying and I'm glad you didn't make this game too hectic. A lot of other entries I played with a similar premise went that direction so it was nice to play a relaxing game for change

Great premise. I found it a little bit too difficult but it was still fun

Pretty cool idea! This is a solid prototype for a bigger game for sure

Very impressed! Well paced and polished. Only nitpick I have is maybe having more levels with each mechanic. It felt like after learning what each new mechanic does, I'm already onto the next one. Hopefully you continue to work on this

As someone that actively tries to break every game I play I felt right at home, well done

my apple juice was shaken, not stirred

Excellent visual effects, super cool

What a panic inducing game (well done!)

Great game, the humor reminds me of warioware style mini games too!

Great use of the theme, strong aesthetics and the audio cues were well done too

One of my favorites so far. Really nice aesthetic and gameplay. The premise was funny too and there's a very high polish to this experience. I loved the pan down from the top after the level is finished to reveal what a mess I've made

That was fun, lots of potential for this to turn into a bigger/full game with this unique combat mechanic

Really enjoyed this one. The level of polish is very good. Tutorial is well done and I immediately understood how to play

Great take on the theme and very interesting aesthetics. Got fired on my first try :)

Super unique idea, I would definitely keep working on this and turn it into a full game!

Yea I didn't give much thought to the keybinds other than QWER+Spc vs QWERT since I always thought we'd just have an option for the players to remap the keys themselves, but we ran out of time (of course...)

The original mapping was QWER + Space with Space being kick, ultimately we thought QWERT would be more intuitive for non drummers. Going all out with controls like you mentioned would've been cool though

Very fun, I did indeed figured it out (nice tutorial) It reminded me a lot of overcooked, well done

Very interesting idea, it almost plays more like a puzzle game in that you have to figure out the best route, and the (slightly too hard) execution needed to actually follow through made it more fun too imo

The kaiju crouch sprite was hilarious. Cool game and fun enough that I bought all the upgrades. The flavor text for the upgrades were a nice touch too

Love the idea and theme implementation. The aesthetics compliment the wacky premise very well too

Hilarious twist to a classic game, sound and playing vs cpu would be welcome for sure, but it's a really nice proof of concept for a bigger game

The genre switch from cozy farming to action was a nice surprise. The timer mechanic reminds me of pikman as well, how you need to optimize your route and do as much as you can before you're forced to head back home. Super fun game and well done!

Pretty neat! Like others have pointed out the controls are a little bit hard to get used to, but it's still a very playable and polished experience
