The camera sensitivity is way off, and everything is so zoomed in that it makes the issue worse. i do find that the lights going down at the same rate as the battery means you don't actually have 30 seconds to find another one because you can't see anything well before the point of actually losing to the darkness. The bedroom layoutis just bizarre, having the sofa stick out right next to the door then a big blank space with the pin board is very strage. I clipped through things a lot. Also the music did not play the first 2 times I plaed. The music only started when I went into the settings and back out even though music was selected as 'on'.

Unfortunately I found numbers on walls etc but I was unable to find all 4 pieces of paper, I only found 3 so I didn't progress after the first room. (table, coat stand, shelves)

So sorry you had some bad experiences with our game, so your rating can be more rounded we would love for you to play it again and try to finish it- also here’s a tip: you can look in some drawers and that might be where one piece is... thanks for the feedback!

I did look in all the drawers but only found 1 battery. If there is suppose to be paper in there then I will try again. The fact that the drawers close so quickly and don't stay open also makes things hard. I was actually enjoying the game so I will try it again.

Interesting play of "escape-the-room" style! Did you intentionally slow down the player movement and decrease the camera FOV to give the feeling of claustrophobia? If yes, good direction, 10-20% more cam FOV though... I'd advise the spotlight's intensity to shrink slower towards the end (meaning: if battery100% = intensity 100%, battery 30% = intensity 50%, battery 10% = intensity 25%) because it gets really dark when you're down below 30% and can't find your way so easily around.

FOV was not intentionally but speed yes and the low intensity stuff was made to put pressure on the player ... thanks for your feedback

A nice atmosphere and a pretty chilly voice acting on the narrator: I like it. My only real complaint is how fast the camera moves and how zoomed in it is compared to the rest. Plus, you might want to fix your collisions a bit because you can look through doors by just pushing into them.

Developer

Thanks for the comments and feedback, you’re right some collisions were not tweaked as well as they could been, something to think about for the next jam!

Good job done there! There are sometimes bugs with camera but it's a 3D game made so quickly. Forgiven :D High rated! Greetings!

Developer

Thank you for playing and thank you for the feedback, unfortunately as you say there were some camera clipping issues :(

The idea is interesting, atmosphere is great, you did a good job there, i loved the narrator :p

There is some bugs, i clipped through the walls sometimes. This isn't a bug, but the camera field of view is very small, making the mouse sensibility looks high.

Music is cool, 3d models are ok, but could get some textures or more colors. Nice work! :D

You already rated my game, but will leave it here anyway:

Thank you for playing our game and leaving feedback, next jam we will have to add some sort of mouse sensitivity slider to the options!

Nice work on this dude!
The game was a little confusing; I found the password numbers and stuff but there wasn't a clear indication of where to go next or if I had everything in the room (maybe a small HUD or UI checklist could help?)

I like what you have done with this though; definitely get some music in this game :D

Glad you liked it, there is music and narration (which helps with what to do), please could you replay and check the audio in the options menu, and then re rate, but thanks for trying it out!

Developer

Can you let us know when you have replayed, so we can see your thoughts on the audio, and if you had any success with getting it to work, thanks!
