This is a fun and chaotic endless runner type game. The modes are varied and interesting, and despite how many objects are on the screen I never lost track of my character or the powerups on the ground. I particularly liked Panic Mode. The setting and art style are cool and unique and give the game a cool vibe. The ending made me chuckle. Great job!

The game did a great job keeping me on my toes. I also enjoyed the Mode changes as well.

A simple runner done well, and integrating simple physics into it is a nice twist. I appreciate being thrown in and left to fend for myself in the chaos.

Love the lore in the information page! I'll admit it took me a second to realize the colors that changed the mode. I think the visuals move just a bit too fast to keep track of, and the fact the player is often displaced by the trash makes me feel as if there is little player agency, though that could potentially be meta-commentary given the nature of the setting. Enjoyed speeding through the chasms left behind by focus mode, though, and I like that the ship design reflects the levels you run through at the end. Nice work!

Focus mode is my favorite as well. ;)

Got confused and thought I was playing BattleToads for a second with that interim cut scene :D  Always happy to rate a Godot entry! I didn't get much out of doing anything besides holding the up arrow along the side, but in principle this could be good fun with a bit more depth. It's a jam after all! Well done, well done.

During play test the team also noticed the "run up the side" hack. This is great feedback - we are considering adding some pinball-esque mechanics to deter sticking with a safe lane. Thanks for playing!

Panic mode indeed. Fun and interesting game concept! It took me a while to figure out the blobs on the ground charged modes, but the one time I specifically tried to aim for them, the door closed on me :c. Panic spamming forward seems the way to go lol.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! We are looking into ways to make the blobs more obvious and naturally encourage the player to investigate. Potentially animations, dimensionality, and lighting effects.

"I don't know who I am or what I'm doing, all I know is I must run."

Fun little game, definitely got the hectic/chaotic meter cranked to 11!

Simple concept very well executed!

Nice visuals and music, keep up the good work!

Panic mode active! I'm gonna run real fast.

I really like the style and the music. The general gameplay loop is pretty fun, though I do wish the game got a bit harder earlier on. But overall, super solid work!

This is a neat idea, it's super chaotic! I don't feel like I have very much control over what's going on, but it's fun to bump into the different powers and watch things go crazy.

Developer

"Super chaotic" is absolutely what we were going for. I agree about the apparent lack of agency; we intend to work to improve that. Thanks for taking the time to play and respond!
