I thought the controls were fine. Super cool having a score leader board, and being able to somehow fit in a level editor on top of that is insane! The music was pretty good, and the art was cute. I just wish there was a few more developer-crafted levels!

Insanely Creative, and ridiculous replayability given the level editor! Super fun stuff. I would have enjoyed more developer levels, maybe a challenge folder, but other than that, super cool!

This might be the most unique game of the jam. I love the environment and not to mention the cutscene at the beginning is incredibly well done. It's somehow unsettling and relaxing at the same time. Fantastic Job!!!

Like the person below me said, it's absolutely insane that you were able to get an entire metroidvania done for this jam. Beautifully done!!! Just a heads up, you accidentally left debug shortcuts for each ability on the right side of the keyboard.

This feels so cohesive. I can't think of a single thing I'd change. I love all the different modes, the core mechanic is super unique, and the art style is adorable!!!

This was awesome and had by far the best soundtrack of any game in the jam! I really enjoyed the level variety, and it's sweet seeing all of the lawn mowing games!

Really good character in this game. It was really fun and the world felt super fleshed out. Not to mention the difficulty selection at the start was hilarious.

Super cool concept, and super cool visuals. I was however able to complete it without killing anything, so maybe if there was a way to make fighting enemies a bit more necessary? Other than that, super solid entry and lots of fun!

Really polished, I love the sound design. It's a little long, but overall super awesome title, with a perfect level of difficulty!

Super cute! I really liked all the different paths you could take! There were some times were I would get partially stuck in the ground, but other than that, awesome work!

This one is freaking awesome!!! The art style progression, audio, everything is on point. The amount of time I spent on this was insane considering the fact that it is a gamejam game! I love everything about it!

Super Cool, I haven't seen a movement system like this before! I especially like the semi-3D sprite work, super well done. Crazy difficult, but in a good way. This would be really cool as a whole platformer game with a ton of bosses!

Super fun/cool concept. I agree with sushiNagasaki, that the controls are a tad floaty/unpredictable. But the general movement and platforming is super fun. I could totally see this as a getting over it style game where it just keeps going up and the player could lose all progress, especially if the environments were a bit more varied. Overall super cool!

I really enjoyed how polished, yet goofy this one was. The sprite work was also incredible. Sadly the slug seemed to not enjoy my rizz :/ Overall excellent game!!!

I really liked how often the environments switched up. Really awesome enemy variety. There are some funky hit box issues, with enemies behind me dying. But overall, awesome work!!!

(1 edit)

I love the vibe, the puzzles were hard but not impossible. Graphics, music, general world feel was on point. I do however think the number puzzle needs a better cue to tell the player that dragging the number over the square negates or adds values, I had no clue and was just messing around for a solid 15 minutes, but other than that, super awesome game, and probably the one I have spent the most time with so far!

This was freaking awesome!!! It was super polished, I think I ended up just messing around and vibing to the music for an hour. This title just oozes with character!

Super cool concept, The terminal was so well done, I almost tried to use gdb commands, but that might also be the 5 hours of sleep and Computer Systems Programming final. Either way, super niche game, but a lot of fun! Great Job!!!

Cool Idea, I agree with the other comments that the first level is pretty punishing. It took me a while to figure out that I had to lure enemies to jump to higher platforms, but other than that, super fun game!!!

I agree with the person below me, it wasn't until my third play through that I realized there was more than one mode. Other than that, the title has a super satisfying gameplay loop and the enemy variety is pretty decent considering the time limit. Overall, great job!!!

This was by far the most entertained I've been by an entry. I feel disgusting after playing it. The music and art style is perfect. My first time around, I accidentally removed everything except one leg, and my nugget rat immediately died :/ 10/10

Probably the most stylistically original entry I've seen so far. Pretty difficult, in a good way. Not to mention the sound design is incredible! Super good work!

This was super cute. I also really liked the cutscene. I found all of the modes to be super useful, but like others, ended up sticking to the double jump and the gun. Overall, this felt really polished. I would love to see a bigger variety of obstacles in the future after the jam is over!!!

This felt super polished, the style was sick! As others have mentioned, the controls felt really tight. There's not really anything I can complain about, just a solid platformer!

The mechanics are incredibly unique. Each puzzle felt especially satisfying. At first it felt a little overwhelming with all the mechanics to keep track of, but by the end, I felt like I had it down. Super cool game, one of my favorites so far.

I really like the art style. Like the guy below me said, I think the game feels super polished. I do wish the world was a bit smaller, or perhaps there was a way to more easily distinguish where I am when I'm in the terminal mode, as I got lost pretty easily, but other than that, super awesome game!!!

Awesome foundation. I really liked the environment varieties! I don't know if there was supposed to be an ending screen, as I cleared all the block but nothing happened. Overall, I think it needs a bit more variety with what the different tools can do, but awesome job!

The gameplay was awesome! I think the story kind of dragged on considering that the gameplay didn't change with the story, I think this could be fixed with some more environments and possibly more enemies, which would have been tough given the deadline. The overall experience was super rewarding, and I could feel myself getting better as the game went on, which was awesome. Super good job!!!

Super fun title, the visuals are awesome. I also struggled with that second to last puzzle, but it was def doable. Overall, one of my favorite entries.

Super satisfying game. I think the difficulty was perfect. I do wish there was an ending after the endless mode, but overall, super fun title!!!

Super fun game, pretty satisfying to get through. The only critique I have is that the difficulty starts off pretty hard, then the end of the game is super easy. But other than that, I really enjoyed this title!

I think I might add tooltips to the loading screen post-Jam that would include this

That's a great Idea, I'll totally add that post Jam!

Super cool enemy design, but I agree with the person below that said the enemies were way to tough for what the player has. Maybe make it so that a head shot substantially does more damage. As is, the enemies can kinda quickly lock you in a corner and it becomes rather frustrating. But other than that, I love the vibe, and the mechanic is pretty cool.

Pretty funny game. The art style is awesome, I just wish there was a way to speed up the dialogue.

I also got kinda soft locked in the elevator. Eventually I got down and was able to continue, but it took 5ish minutes of jumping around. The presentation is really good. The gameplay is tedious in a good way, as it really shows the struggle that a blind person would have.

Super fun game, the pixel art is really well done. The mechanic is also awesome!

Super cool mechanic. I also found the pacing to be a little sudden. The music is really good, and the intro sets is probably the best I've seen out of the game jam so far.

I am also having this issue, I've tried both firefox and edge. Other people seem to be able to play it though? Maybe make a downloadable version?

Super cool, but I had a weird bug during the golf game, where if you hit an enemy head on, instead of killing the player, it just crashed the game to black.
