Short and sweet, good puzzles although some of them felt a bit too tight on timing, liked how the music changed between light and dark mode

ps. you can go off-bounds if right at the beginning you jump over the door and climb the wall instead :')

Great puzzles and sound.

Surprisingly fun! Really enjoyed the mechanics and the little twist. Also great use of color palette for the light/dark modes. Great job!

Excellent puzzle game that leaves me wanting more. Enjoyed every mechanic and each one has good possibilities for puzzles. Hope you'll have an opportunity to continue this to add a few more levels in between and smooth out the learning curve, and also go even further with it.

Amazing Game! The pixel art for this game looks amazing especially the backgrounds. The theme feels really well interpreted and the game feels very polished. I genuinely think that you could sell this game on steam. Good Job!

One of, if not the best, use of the dark/light mode.
Really enjoyed the puzzles and the ending was a great touch.

A platformer that uses light, with a dark ending. :P

Loved it and hope you can play mine too! :V

Cool piece you got here! I appreciate the pacing, level design, and bit of tension towards the end. It's a surprisingly full experience given the time constraints so you ought to be proud of that.

I have to say, this game is exceptionally great! A practically complete game with really great design and mechanics. This may be my favorite game of the jam. Great job on this one!

I love the time travel paradoxes in this game! The platforming felt snappy and the puzzles had a good amount of challenge to them. The visuals and the music are excellent and provide a really good atmosphere. No notes, amazing work!

Super impressive, technically speaking! We chatted a bit about how the masking layers interact, and the way it's pulled off is incredible. I'd definitely love to see more puzzles utilizing these mechanics, and the spritework was really detailed and used subtle pixel movements to convey weight and depth that really made the experience pop.

The movement and platforming mechanics feel very nice. I did not try it with a controller, but had some trouble with holding shift to do things. Perhaps a button remapping feature would solve for that observation?

This was great! Love the aesthetics and unique mechanic with the flashlight/lantern. Music and sounds were also very good. Well done!

this was a really clever game! the puzzles weren’t extremely difficult but were still very satisfying to solve. the physics could get a little finicky at times with the main mechanic, such as with moving platforms getting stuck on a single pixel, though with a couple tweaks it could be super solid. i also found a bug where if you pick up a lit lantern while your flashlight is active, your flashlight beam just stays in place and doesn’t move with you. outside of the gameplay, the pixel art was SUPER well done! especially the backgrounds, those were beautifully made! the music was also great, and as a final note i loved the twist at the end. loved it!!

Thank you!  We caught the flashlight pickup glitch shortly after uploading but it was too late to fix.  The backgrounds were actually super easy, barely an inconvenience.  I took real pictures and pixelated them down to 320x180 (the resolution of the game), adjusted the color palette to include only the colors for that mode, and then messed with saturation and contrast values.

The mechanics are incredibly unique. Each puzzle felt especially satisfying. At first it felt a little overwhelming with all the mechanics to keep track of, but by the end, I felt like I had it down. Super cool game, one of my favorites so far.

Initially I wasn't sure about this game, thought it would just be another 2D platformer. But this is so incredibly solid and polished and genuinely fun. So happy I gave it a try and will definitely be following you in all future endeavors

Awesome game! Great puzzles, tight controls, solid art and sound design. I especially liked the end sequence! Amazing work!

Wow, what a cool polished game, art and music are superb. Gameplay is smooth, intuitive and fun.
Clever puzzles too without being extremely hard.

There are no notes I can think of, awesome job! Great entry!

This game is so sick. The puzzles are super well designed, and make me feel really smart for completing them, which is exactly what you want out of a puzzle game like this. Also the narrative elements being told without a lick of dialogue was super cool. A really tight and concise experience. you guys should be super happy with what you got done. One complaint i have is that the final sequence was a little tight, and a bit frustrating, but otherwise a really fun and cool way to end the game.

Fun to try to find ways to get away with things. Very nice, tight game.
