Nice game! I included it in my LOWREZJAM compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Just perfect light shader, very polish game with the screen shake. Cool gameplayer. Good work.
Beautiful light effects. Solid controls and camera shake. Good implementation of collisions. Straight forward premise with regards to saving the miners.
The "fall" of the rocket could be a touch slower which would give me more time to reorient the thing.
I really love the graphics. We were also experimenting with the 2D rendering pipeline in our game and the normals are really nice in this game. The gameplay is satisfying and a bit difficult to control, but that build up the challenge.
super fun gameplay the hit box was WAY forgiving on gettng shot by the miners i had to try really hard and sit in the line of fire for a while to register a hit on me. very much reminds me of solar jetman. cool overall would have liked sound but I understand the limitations. awesome job man.
I assisted on a game for this jam. would love to hear your ideas on our game :)

Yeah I'm real sad I didn't have enough time to get sound in in time for submission! Once the rating period is up I'm planning on polishing up the game a bit so it feels more complete. The hit box thing was intentional in order for deaths to never feel cheap. I still manage to die all the time with the current hit box settings though!
The graphics and lighting is gorgeous, I also like the procedurally generated levels, it fits perfectly the game. If I may ask, what engine/framework/language did you use?
I just used typescript and raw WebGL calls :) The source is here if you'd like to see https://github.com/jaburns/LOWREZJAM2019 The architecture really fell apart in the last few hours of the jam, but that's the way these things go!
