Great job! I really liked the design of different characters and environments. It's a bit sad that animations for many enemies and attacks were not finished.

The mechanic of balancing basic attacks with special attacks is very interesting, but it means that most of attacks player uses will be basic. Still, I think the orb economy is a great idea and would work well with more characters and greater variety of abilities.

Overall, I'm very happy with the game! Good luck with your future projects!

Very cool! Always love a turn-based combat game. Graphics and art style were done brilliantly, my favorite part of the game. Also nice to have the audio all included, though some slightly more intense battle sounds would have been satisfying. Everything felt smooth, only would have enjoyed some more between-battles context or in-game tutorials so I felt I was making more use of the battle-system's complexities, but that's all extra stuff. For a month-long project this was great!

I like fantasy turn-based games very much! This one is no exception: great artwork and lots of variety and mechanics. I think it could be improved by adding some animation when characters die, but still a great job.

I just have one curiosity: is there any feature you had to remove due to time constraints or other limitations? I opened the topic "The Features Cemetery" and would love to have your input :)

Really like the art style and unified theme of everything here, I’m usually not a huge fan of turn based games like this one but I actually found myself getting pretty into the upgrades in between rounds. Nicely done!

Art was good and game had a solid idea to grow on. 

I would definitely make more slots to fill in the scale and make enemies also use it. Some skills even needing exact balances. Like you have to have 3 moon ,2 sun in your turn to unleash a powerful attack.
Some random events changing it. Dying enemies also change it. In short I would make it more strategic  because in the current play mostly I was using 1 guy to charge stuff for the other and that was it.

Ending was unexpected and funny. I hope pally is not serious :)

Very nice game. Graphics are great, musics and sound effects work well. The gameplay is well balanced, and I also enjoyed the little cinematic at the beginning that sets the tone of the game. Awesome work !

Liked the art very much, it is quite unique! The music is quite immersive, would love it if the sound effects have more impact when hitting. Loved the boon system very much! really enhances the customizablity. Being able to use keyboard to control is good.

It is hard to see enemy information because it is displayed on a timeline, if show above enemy head is better.

The light and dark system is quite interesting, i quite like it, dealing more damage to enemy of opposite type. The scale plays as a very interesting game mechanic, I used some time to understand it, it is like a annoying mana system in a fun way lol. Adds more strategy thinking to the game. As soon as I realised, I was playing along with the system.

The balancing is good, just right.

What a charming little RPG, I really like the scale gimmick, it's fun and easy to understand due to all the little icons and it fits the theme. The art is nice and charming too, fits the feel of the game if that makes any sense. I don't know what to say in terms of improvement, I haven't personally run into any bugs, and although there's a limited amount of content, that is to be expected in a game jam. This game has a bunch of potential if expanded upon! Great work!

A really charming game! The character and enemy art is lovely, the UI is well designed, combats are fun, the boon system leaves space for a more complex game design in the future if different boons are added, I was enjoying my playthrough really much.

A couple notes on things to improve:
-The theme of Scales, while present is a bit of an afterthought, since mostly the scales feel like the usual mana system, you could have the same game without the scale and it wouldn't miss much.

-A bug ocurred during my playthrough where if you cast the Curse of Strength during the Rootsnarl battle while a companion is dead, the battle will stop progressing.

But! Even though the game basically froze after a good while playing it, I went back to finish it, so take that as a sign that there's potential here, it's an accomplishment to get a player to retry your game and you managed perfectly. With little more work and some variation to the boons I could see this being released as a full game! n-n

great HOMM3 vibes but with scaling! the artwork, I'm speechless. so much to love on this one, great fun and very nice overall feel. you should all be proud of your game, great entry!

i think Heroes 3 HD edition is available on steam, would definitely recommend it, still one of the best games!
