the atmosphere you created is so engaging, the buggy textboxes and lack of visual distinction to objects what could be interacted with felt like features rather than bugs. really enjoyed it especially the way and the rhythm you introduced new features. great entry, hope to see your future games in future jams as well

this game is a pretty complex and well designed entry, great job! just two notes:
- it was pretty hard to read some infos and the UI, as the letters were super small in many cases. maybe it's some compatibility issue with retina displays (mac user here), worth to look into if you'd like to further develop the idea
- pls lower the saturation contrast for the wooden and grass tiles, or have the option to change them flat, it takes away from the otherwise very nice visuals
good job!
love me some endless runner! what a beauty this game is, really well done art direction, congrats! lovely sfx as well. I would love some indicator that helps the player if an obstacle comes up that could kill them, I've never despised hedgehogs as much as I did in this game before haha. very nice first game, keep on going!
are the screams sampled from It Takes Two? love the music anyways. it's a very well polished game, and have actual gameplay and fun factor to it. Really like the pixel art elements of the design, but I think the overall art direction suffers from the lack of environmental details. Just some basic pixel art tiles would lead to a more coherent look, instead of the current one. I also kinda miss some surprising factor from the gameplay, it gets a bit predictable after a few levels, some buffs or new mechanics would skyrocket this entry into a very good and fun game.
Hope you find these comments helpful, I think this game is one of the best ones in the jam. Hope you will have the chance to further develop it, as it has a very high ceiling I feel. great great job!
congrats on this entry, it's pretty well made on it's own as a jam entry but making it in 20 hours as a solo dev makes it pretty respectable! really liked the art and the gameplay albeit not super complex, is engaging enought to play with the game until godot web export crashed my browser. great job!
the artwork is amazing, very nice color palette and pixel art. would love some tutorial, I was not able to figure out how to make the actions work or what should happen really once I clicked on the buildings (are those the regions?) pls help me (and I guess others) with this, I'm curious how this game plays
really liked the music and the vibe of the game as a whole. it's a smart implementation of the theme. did the tree got slower as it health depletes? it felt like that and to be fair it was kinda making things go down pretty quickly for me, but managed it way better on my second try. had fun with this one!
very nice art and animation, really enjoyed the dash-mouse trap hyper jump as well. to attack felt a bit slow but that's not really is an issue, just a preference. to be fair i really missed a map or some more recognisable objects around the map though to help me navigate or to give me some direction for the cheese. it's a beautiful and nice entry nonetheless!

thanks for playing with the game and for your feedbacks. so the idea of the gameplay loop would be to keep Heaven and Hell balanced. eg. if Heaven's score is around 75, Hell should be around -75, etc. every character has a score according to their traits, and that score adds to the value of Heaven and Hell, to where you send the soul. so if you send an overall -8 valued soul to Heaven, Heaven would lose 8 points. but if you send the soul to Hell (the right decision), Hell's score receives -8 (they go negative direction). the main reason the visit Hell or Heaven mechanic is to check how the score is, and try to figure out, what could be the right balance. probably could have explained it more, but tbf wanted to give the players the liberty to play the game as they wish and don't feel they have to make right decisions. to extend that if you finish the quest lines, you have the option to side with either Heaven or Hell as an extra victory condition, I'm very sorry you came towards an immersion breaking error. we'll look into the bugs you noticed!
