  • The music seemed to change in the middle of the level without reason and only for a second before changing back? I think the controls seem to be sluggish and the decision to put jump at W seems quite odd. But the idea is nice and the pirate music adds nicely to the atmosphere. Thanks for the game!

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
Speedrun the levels to earn money for faster times OR

KILL THEM ALL

Kills spread your Infamy, which increases the chances that your foes will recognize you and flee in terror!

Coins are your ammo and your currency in the upgrades shop, but the more you pick up the heavier you become, slowing you down and restricting your jump.

Chain kills in a combo for extra coins!

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

I agree with bartalomew that the camera would be a great place to add some polish.

I also wish that space was jump instead of shoot.

The text in the shop was difficult to read.

But I loved your pixel work!  Especially the second level boss (who I couldn't get past, but I assume the art continues to be great!)

so many nice ideas, but kinda a hard tbf. love the paint art. the camera movement is extreme that could use some polish, but nice job for your first jam entry!
