Surprised to see a cute little tower defense game like this in the jam, nicely done! And the switch affecting each row is a nice touch for the theme. I hope to see it developed even further, thank you for sharing!

I like the game concept, but it is tricky to beat since the switches affect all of the towers in a single row instead of just one tower at a time.

I really like the artstyle, but I feel like it would be better to have each tower be toggleable instead of having the whole row affected, and also tower upgrades would be nice too, but overall a pretty unique and fun game :)
I like the concept and it's a good use of the on/off theme. However, it feels very difficult to get into the game since the difficulty is the same throughout and there's no variation of enemies. I do think the game has a very cute art style though.
I really didn't expect to see a tower defense game in this jam, but you really did make it fit the theme! I must say I really love the art of the characters, they are very charming and cute
Interesting concept. I'm a big TD gamer myself so I always appreciate one when I see it. The ON/OFF mechanic was, kinda-sorta-fun. (Almost felt like you retrofitted it versus building around it). I also didn't really feel the 'differences' between all the towers. Great work on the graphics and up-beat music though. I think there's a good game hidden here, just needs to be polished up a bit.
Thanks for your opinion! I had a lot of ideas before I started, especially about the on/off feature. I understand that the on/off mechanic feels retrofitted, even though I wouldn't say that's the case. If I had more time I would've worked more with the towers and bring more creative tower mechanics to the game. I will definitely do that when the jam's over! :D
Like the art style and the idea of trying to get your team across while not killing them was creative, but I never felt like I could get a grasp of how to play effectively. Because early on both red and yellow will be constantly on top of each other, you can't really kill one without killing the other. To be fair the lever mechanic fixes this a bit, but it could have been cool if maybe each spawner also had a lever where you can stop the flow for a couple seconds? Really cool game though that could be easily expanded upon, like new variants of the yellow and red people, or maybe even hazards that play into the on/off theme.
Thanks for your critique! I definitely agree, and I had plans of making both stronger and faster variants of the enemies, as well as power ups and other elements that could make the game more interesting. Unfortunately I had no time for that during the jam, but if I develop the game further after the voting is over I will definitely bring more of these ideas in the game!
