- workbench has a custom model instead of a cube but since v6 chunk system doesnt yet support them its a placeholder

- its a higher tier so you need to use the pickaxe

kinda reminds me of the game yall did the last gamejam (the space one with the pipes or whatever it was) but its still really good!! i feel like the collisions could be improved but thats probably all. for a gamejam, its really high quality

at the start of development i used boids for the enemy movement which didnt cause lag but when i added walls the enemies didnt avoid them so i had to switch to pathfinding... which is really laggy when u have more than 50 - 100 enemies

the artstyle is amazing!! hitting enemies is satisfying, but i wish there were different moves/attacks/something to move around or attack enemies.. other than that i liked most of the stuff in the game :>

the gameplay was really good, with variations in the enemies!! really enjoyed this one, im not sure how it only has 41~ ratings. but the gym is kinda broken it should be a bit more balanced. other than that really good game about 8 or 9/10 for a gamejam submission :>

the atmosphere and graphics are amazing! but since most of the gameplay is just walking and looking around i would probably add more variation to the map (maybe?) or headbobbing thing so that the walking is more "immersive" if that was the focus? but other than that really good game!! love the graphics

The issue with the lag was caused by pathfinding not the spawning itself..

The lag is caused by the enemy pathfinding when theres too many of them... if we ever update this game ill try to improve it

while in development i used exponential function so the game would be unplayable after few rounds lol.. but now its wave × 4 × spawners (4)

The fps drop was caused by the enemy ai using pathfinding. Originally before there was a map i was using boids which was a lot more performant but when there were ton of walls they were crashing into them, so i sacrificed performance for better enemies...

If i ever update the game ill definitely improve performance of the ai

ive rated this game before the submissions ended, but ill guess ill rate it again. The graphics, story and dialogs were amazing. Gameplay was pretty simple since it was a platformer but for a single playthrough id rate it around 8.5/10!
