Really impressive connection puzzle game, and a great take on the theme! I love this kind of puzzle game, and I think it would work great on mobile too, though I've only played it on PC so far. Thank you for sharing!

And if you haven't had a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would appreciate any feedback, thanks!

Developer(+1)

Really glad you liked our game.
We loved making it and are continuing it's development all. Major improvements and expansion made already waiting for the game jam to be over.

Yes this works on mobiles too and even Smart TV's :D

I realy like the idea logic gates it's realy fit the theme

Developer

Glad you liked our game.
I loved making it too <3

It could definitely be used in schools to teach logic circuits. You renewed my already forgotten knowledge about that topic. To make it perfect, the only thing missing is a tutorial in English with a strong Finnish accent (Sorry for such a stupid joke. The other day I watched "Sisu" and I'm still impressed. I haven't seen such a good and funny movie in a long time). All kidding aside, a very good and educational logic game.

Developer

Thanks <3
Glad you liked the game.
I might do the Finnish Rally English accented tutorial as a few others in another forum hinted the same thing :D

Sisu was an AWESOME movie <3

I'll be continuing to expand the game further and one teacher friend of mine already wanted to use this with his students in the coming lessons at his school so things are going just wonderfully.

This game's interpretation of the theme is the purest in the literal sense.

The logic gates seems intimating at first but the puzzle really boil down to understanding the gates themselves, this makes the puzzles relatively easy while still feeling satisfying.

The graphic design of green=true an red=false is excellent as it lets the player know immediately what is happening, and observe the problem part by part when something goes wrong.

The music makes playing this a vibe.

10/10, for the nostalgic factor, supersized how this kinda thing is only taught in university.

Developer

Thank you for the praises and glad you liked our game <3

I'm already quite ahead with expanding and streamlining the game for the post jam release and I've planned to expand the games scope to more logic types and components as well as more complex structures too.

Submitted(+2)

Great take on the theme. It's also educational since the player will learn about logic and switches.

Developer

So glad you liked our game.
Logic and switches are close to my heart since those were integral i n my first profession school back when I was a kid.

Personally I am a sucker for logic puzzle games, this kind of game makes my brain work in the best way!

Visually I love how you communicate whether a gate is on or off (so players who don't know logic gates don't have to guess!)

I also love the small detail that is the level counter going up in binary!

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked our game, there is more to come after the jam when I get to refine and expand the game <3

I think so that the game could try to ease the payer in more and make it easier to understand how to do it. I think the tutorial ould be a bit better as I got bored of reading very quickly and went to the main game and did it. I also think that it you should make the player go to the next level automatically so it'd be a bit easier since I got a bit confused at why it wasn't going to the next level even though I did everything right. Overall, I think it's pretty good but could use improvement.

Thanks for checking my game. All feedback is good feedback.

Developer

You're absolutely right.
the start should be more forgiving with difficulty ramping up more gradually and the tutorial should be revised.
This all is under construction already for the dev version so your worries are to be answered ;)

As this was made only in 2 days time the time constraint kept it to be quite basic in functionality, but I will continue developing this further taking into account all the feedback I get from you all who commented.

I think it's different and hard but I like it please rate my game 🎮

Wow such a clever game and playing it with a headset it had a great vibe

Developer

So glad that you liked our game.
The music is quite awesome tbh by the talented Cillian "Fatal Exit" Clifford.

Rami, you always deliver way more of a Jam expectations! Amazing game, maybe not as fun (?) as one could expect, but I can see it has an educational niche there.

Some improvements that I thought of while playing:

- Show logic tables when hovering a logic gate

- Make the wiring less hard, with the toggling state and such I ended up wiring things that I didn't mean to.

- Slower progression. As I've had experience with this, It was intuitive, but I can imagine the frustration of people who had never been exposed to logic operations.

Overall, a solid product and please continue it, I would love to play it again!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the kind words and so  glad you liked our game.

Your suggestions are valid and well thought for and are already almost done in the dev version that is to be released after the jam.

more levels, logic, gameplay mechanics are planned and worked upon already so your wishes are coming true :)

This is a really fun, satisfying game. I love logic puzzles and while I'm not familiar with this logic gates in particular, it was easy to pick up. My only suggestion would be for people like me who aren't very familiar, the way hovering the mouse explains what each part's conditions are in the tutorial should carry over into the main game as well. Also I think I might just be stupid, but it took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out you needed to click on the wiring text to switch modes. I kept moving the parts trying to jam them into one another lol. Anyway, great entry with some of the most satisfying gameplay of the Jam.

Oh, and please also check out my entry when you have a chance! :)

Developer(+1)

So glad that you liked our game.
I concur that there needs to be more helpful interface and I'm already working on it as well as the idea of more profound help box carrying over from the tutorial to the actual game.

Oh, I loved those gates back in the day! It is so interesting to work on all those combination and build schemes. Back in the days, I had this child-friendly constructor that would utilize this kind of stuff, so thanks for bringing these memories back!

Developer(+1)

Oh so glad that you've got a similar experiences from the past <3
I'll be continuing the development of this game much further for more gameplay and levels and puzzles.

Wait a minute, this is homework! How dare you!

Jokes aside this actually a really fun way to learn about logic gates. I could easily see myself returning to this to freshen up on this stuff. I actually wish this game was around during my discrete mathematics course

Developer(+1)

Yes, sliding homework to unsuspecting people dressed up as games. <3

This kind of game would've been really helpful in my days of learning as an electrician back in the day too.

I hope to build it as a fun game that would be somewhat educational too for people in a fun way.

Glad that you like the game <3

This is a very well-made game utilizing the logic gates to solve puzzles. I'm sure someone would be able to complete all of the levels without too much trouble, but as for me, I'm a noob when it comes to logic gates so I wasn't able to complete all of them. T_T

Developer

Glad you like the game.
I will make the difficulty curve bit more lenient in the next versions as I refine the levels more.

Submitted(+2)

I enjoyed that, something about trying to figure out the circuits and logic combined with that music makes for a pleasant experience. I would love to see this game more polished and extended, think it would be a really fun experience! I could imagine in later levels you could make very complex circuits to make the game infinitely hard as time goes on.

Developer

Glad you liked our game.
The game is already under works to be more polished and expanded.
I have loads of plans on how to advance the games scope and complexity.

Keep following for later updates, there will be more after the jam.

Submitted(+2)

Lol i thought i already commented on this but i dont see it
Love this game, it makes me feel smart lol

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked the game <3

I think you commented this way in Discord ;)

Submitted(+1)

ooooh makes sense lol

Submitted(+2)

wow that's a next level puzzle game ! O.o

i wasn't able to beat even level 0 D:

i think a lil tutorial in the game would be cool :3

overall, well made !

Developer(+1)

Glad you like our game <3

There IS a tutorial of sorts in the game.

The tutorial level is for showing and describing each of the logic gates on how they work.
with fiddly switches to test out and play around.
