All 5-er no doubt, love it!

Fun, unique, looks great and plays smoothly. Not too easy aswell, playing around with all the mechanics can take some time. Dev notes were funny. Well done :)

Developer(+1)

Wow thanks appreciate it!

Submitted(+3)

The idea is awesome and I really enjoyed the humor of the game. The puzzles were interesting and I was looking forward to what mechanic will be introduced (or removed) as I kept playing!

Developer(+2)

Me too! Initially, we actually had not planned for the buttons to change but we really wanted to keep everything fresh!

Developer

Thanks!!

What a creative idea! Nice take on the theme and great game design in the levels. I've enjoyed a lot trying your game. Congratulations!

Developer(+2)

Cheers!

Developer

Thank you!!

The art, sound, and puzzles are super polished. The idea was very creative and the dev notes were just perfect. Too bad they heard about the flying exploit with the restart button though...

Developer(+2)

Yeah that one is my favorite!! Who knows, they might forget about it later!

Developer(+2)

Thanks for playing! We’re glad you enjoyed our game! #justiceforresetflyglitch

Thank you :)

I saw you played my game so I had to check out yours and im glad I did. I had a blast playing this. What a great take on the theme. As a level designer myself. I loved the levels here, each added something new, having to mix mechincs in order to solve the puzzles was just the best! nice work lads!

Developer(+1)

What’s interesting is we had like four different people designing levels—which one was your favorite and could you tell there were multiple designers??

Submitted

I didnt really have like a favourite level. But the way the game introduced the new mechincs and then blended them together was well made. An example would be the level where you had to fast forward and then reset to gain the speed and height to make it over the ledge. That was just really smart!

Developer(+1)

Thanks mate :)

Apparently my buttons do not work in this game, nothing happens when I press (

Developer(+1)

Really? Were you playing on the WebGL build?

Developer

All the controls are via mouse, so clicking should help :)

Submitted(+4)

Ngl, you got me in the first half. I thought I was just gonna keep watching and not doing anything. Really nice idea.

Developer(+2)

We were really worried some people would just stop playing there! Glad you stuck with it!

your design of playing about control the role is so brilliant! i tried several times to get used to control it and brings me the brand-new experience!+ music  is indispensable!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much!! Glad we were able to keep everything fresh for you! We wanted our music loop to be a bit longer but we specifically designed it to sound cool at normal speed and when sped up!

Submitted(+3)

The art style is very good. I love your take on the reversed role!

Developer(+2)

Glad to see someone mentioning the art because I LOVE RADISH BOY

Really creative stuff on display. Really enjoy the patch notes between each level

Incredible. This is absolutely one of the best games I've seen so far in this jam. The art all looks great, the puzzles are well-made, and it feels like a complete game. The progression and pacing was smooth, and a lot of the 'bugs' were things that could feasibly happen in game development.

There were a couple times when I even tried to reset the level because I had failed the puzzle, only to have the game 'reset', which was fun.

I don't have a single bad thing to say, and I can usually find something even if it's just a tiny nitpick.

Developer(+3)

Wow, thank you so much! I definitely did that too while playtesting lol

Developer(+3)

Wow that means a lot!! Thanks :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for leaving such a thoughtful review!! Actually, some of the “bugs” like the reset preserving vertical momentum were things we discovered and then kept in the game. Also, I definitely had those moments of trying to legitimately reset the level, and they always made me laugh. Because you took the time to write this, I want to present you with our concept art for one of our unused characters:

He’s a melancholy potato… I wonder what he would do if he was in the game 👀

Submitted(+3)

I think this will be on the top 20, really cool idea, and very polished. Congratulations!

Developer(+2)

Here's hoping!!

Developer(+3)

Wow thanks!! Yeah we hope so RAGHHH

Developer(+1)

This is possibly the best game I've played so far in this jam! Everything about it was so charming, from the incredible devnotes to the cute art to the way the music shifts tone to match whether you have the speed boost on or not. The puzzles were also so incredibly fun and satisfying to solve. I hope you make a full release eventually!

Developer(+2)

Wow that means a lot!! Full release sounds nice

Developer

I want to make a full release too! We had a lot more designed than we had time for… 👀

Happy to hear any ideas you have!

One of the best games I’ve played in this jam so far, awesome work! Love the way the mechanics kept changing without becoming frustrating to keep track of, and the humour in the devlog.

Developer(+2)

Thank you so much! Your game is also a great puzzler, blowing stuff up with the wizard was so satisfying :)

Whoa! This game was so good! The humor was hilarious, the puzzle design was fantastic (I played it 'till the end and stuck through with it even when I was stuck... and I'm not even a fan of puzzle games), the art style and animation felt like a stylistic choice and not simple because it was done in a super short time, wow! This game feels completely fully realized. I think this might be the first 5/5 for everything I've given in this whole jam.

Fantastic job and good luck with the jam results. I think this is a serious contender for top 100. :)

(Definitely following this account in case you make this into a full release...)

Developer(+2)

Thanks for the kind words Cell-Talk! We're glad you enjoyed our game! I don't know if the devs behind radish boy 2 are the kind you should be supporting tho... :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the follow and your kind words :)
