Fantastic all around! Simple and well executed, I'd love to see this get expanded on in the future

The art style is really cool, and the gameplay even more. It adds a unique twist that was very satisfying to play!

I love so much the artstyle and the colors! Looks gorgeous. Intro screen is nice and the title is very funny. I wanted to play so bad, I refreshed a few times but everytime the train went in straight line and disapeared. Did you also use the game Snakeybus as a reference? I'll play again if you ever publish updates, great job!

The art is on point, the game feels super polished. It's fun and easy to play, love it !

The game seems to freeze after a while of playing :<

Great entry! I played until the game froze and really enjoyed it to that point. It's a very interesting spin on snake.

I really like the art and I am really sad to have the train bug on my sad, can't wait to play the patched version !

I LOVE this art style, and I loved the game even more once I realized how to actually score points ^^

For something that was done in 2 days, this is insanely impressive! Obviously it'd be cool to expand on the concept by adding more mechanics/reasons to jump, but this is perfect for the jam if you ask me. Only issue I ran into is that the game would always crash after a certain amount of time? Dunno why it happens, but it didn't stop me that much from enjoying the game ^^'

Phenomenal work, 5's across the board from me! :D

Glad you liked it! Sorry about the crashing (you might be able to tell from other comments that this is not my most technically stable game)

I really liked the art and presentation, but unfortunately the train just broke and went in a straight line so i couldnt play it.

Loved the concept and the artwork, though the gameplay was a bit lackluster and linear. Hoped to see more coins so I could use more jumps to spice up the gameplay, but great work!

Thanks for playing, I definitely want to expand upon the idea/mechanics in the future!

It unfortunately doesn't work for me, but it still looks impressive and was made with a good concept in mind. I've seen a bunch of people saying the train AI is bugged, and while I obviously don't know how your game works as well as you, I actually suspect that it may have more to do with how the train is built. After a bit of testing, the front car tried to follow the player character, and seemed to be pushed off the map by the cars behind it. If the body cars have their own movement script, double check that their actually set to follow the car in front of them.

I wish the game worked for me because I love everything about the design. You are definitely getting 5 stars for the presentation because the game feel is awesome. Sadly, the train is trying to follow the player but it is being forced to continue moving straight.

EDIT: If you don't mind, I would like to know where you got your characters from or what you used to make them.

Really good art style, and the gameplay is nice.

Sadly there is a bug that make the train loose the player, so it flies off the map..

The idea is genius, the art is amazing adn the gameplay is repeatable. 1 of the best games that I have seen yet in the jam.

Art style and idea are good but the train just goes of the map. Shame it's not working for me, it seems fun.

The art style is cool. Concept is interesting and the implementation is successful. Great job!

Love the art! But unfortunately the train wasn't chasing me :( it was fun when it did though!

I love the art style here, it's very effective - although the sound effects and music could stand to be a teeny bit more 'train' themed? The gameplay is simple enough to jump into and quite satisfying, although I found coins were very rare on a couple of playthroughs and the limited jumping felt a bit restrictive; perhaps every coin could grant one jump, and the player could store these for multiple uses? A couple of times I managed to get two coins and beelined for the vending machine only to be caught by the train or not have an optimal setup to jump over it, but those times when I succeeded were satisfying!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I agree that the jumping is probably a little too infrequent for a main mechanic, I might try fleshing it out in a bigger game where you have more movement abilities but the train movement is harder to predict
