I love the idea of playing a ghost that needs to guide an IA by scaring it!
It was really fun, but also quite difficult at times to lead the IA where I wanted as it didn't seem to react to noise after some time, and didn't know if the exorcist actually found one item even when he was flashlighting the said item. Maybe some feedback for the player might be nice.
Placing a lot of objects to allow the player to make noise was such a clever design choice, really fun experience overall!
Cool Idea! I think there's a problem with the game logic though, since I stood in front of the priest for a good while before the Fear meter started filling up, and even though I eventually led him to the objects the game didn't end after they were all three found. I also got both endings, because I could still move around after the game ended. Good job overall, though!
I LOVE the idea! I had a bit of trouble with the priest getting stuck on geometry, but I would love to see a more refined version of this! Super rad!
Heeey this is such a clever idea! I like that it's almost a co-op stealth game with the thing you're hiding from? This is a very fun idea, and I found myself messing around with this one for a while. I like how you highlighted the "cursed" objects with the red light. Took me a while to discover that, but it was a good moment. The exorcist's AI was a bit buggy so I wasn't able to have him discover all 3 objects, but I at least got 1! Our game has a bunch of AIs and they are quite buggy hahaha XD Game jams, amirite?
Congrats on a jam well done!
Cool aesthetic! The low polyness makes me think of a ps2 silent hill game (also the electric guitar ofcourse). I think if the AI of the priest would be as cool as his looks, it would be a pretty fun little game :)
Like the idea a lot. It became clear pretty early that noise was needed to draw his attention and that'd he'd go right to the last noise he heard (if in range). But unfortunately, at some point, his AI would stop working with noise, and he'd just ignore it. I did finally get him to "hear" his way to all 3 clues, but that was after the 4th attempt. The timer is a bit excessive since you have to wait for it to end and win.
That said, it's still a great concept and fits the theme really well. The issue I have are just bugs and polish. With a bit more it'd be great.
I really liked this one! Although it has a lot of bugs, I really liked the presentation and the gameplay. It's kinda fast paced, I like it!
Haha,I love the ghost model! I like how the objects tying you down are randomized, though some, like the candle, are much harder than others.
Interesting concept and very good presentation. However, the execution of the priest's AI was quite lacking. I was making noises in several areas near the objects that I was bound by and he wouldn't look at these objects. It make it extremely difficult to get him to do what I wanted him to do and actually losing seems to be quite hard. If his AI was polished up I could see this be an interesting game with several levels. Keep making games and I'm interested to see where else you go in your journey! Again though, the presentation is very solid, the music is quite good!
Cool concept but I had no idea I can pick up things until half way in the game, maybe let player know what are the controls in "How To Play".
Fun game, loved the concept! The fear meter was a bit confusing though, although the spooky music made up for it
