Excellent excecution for a platformer, unfortnately it's not really horror-themed.

I beat 4 levels, the game is really hard and emulate well the old NES game design, well done.

Sweet game! I like the GBA graphics, the controls are also a nice touch for us GBA nerds :D

The only thing I'd change is the background music, it got a bit monotonous after a few minutes into the game.

Overall, nice entry! :D

Nice! Music was a little harsh to my ears. Fun design, and nice aesthetics. Good job!

Lots of new gimmicks with each stage, enjoyed it quite a bit. Good thing it uses a MISS system instead of lives or I would've been restarting a lot haha.

Cool arcade game. It has a great amount of polish and the platformer aspect was refreshing in this jam.

I love it when game keeps faithful to the style, that's to say that I loved how everything felt just right, like arcade but little more sharper. The animations and sounds complimented each other so well! The gameplay is also very good, and you did excellent job at introducing the player to each mechanic coherently and simply, but still keeping the game challenging enough to not be boring. Great work ^^

This would be right at home in an arcade machine. the stye is charming and the music compliments it well. The difficulty curve is steep and it is sometimes hard to understand where you can move. The eye mechanics do invoke a feeling of dread and suspense so even though it was not scary, it was still suspenseful and unnerving. Nice entry!

Pretty cute arcade game. The platformer physics is very polished. Unfortunately, it's hard to tell how the Eye looks at the mouse and which platforms are bad as a result. There's a surprising need to do some trial and error. Otherwise, it's a really neat demo!

Great spooky nostalgia, Loved it!

Got some nostalgia with the style. Very well made.

Art style is cool, like how you went for a C64 look! I like how the eye sort of strays from the limited palette of everything else, kind of a meta horror aspect to it. Nice job!

I didn't think anyone would notice! You're absolutely right, the eye is the only sprite that breaks the palette rule. :)
