great visuals!! It was a lot to take in at the beginning with the shop and customisation systems, especially while dodging enemies, but the ideas were nice! Would've been cool if you tought the mechanics step by step at the beginning, kind of like a playable tutorial

Pretty confusing game, kinda hard to get a good grasp on the controls.
Cool sfx and music, nice art!
There's alot of things to take here, and they are all so good! Just need some improvements on getting more simple, since it was hard the first few times I played. Also, the game lets me put more turrets even when above maximum turrets to put, and when clicking on the shop to buy turrets, the game can also detect the click mouse button as a place turret too.
Still, a really nice and solid gameplay, with alot of things to take in!
A really fun game :D
FEEDBACKS :
- too much text in How To Play (it’s impossible to remember everything)
- start is too hard
- the shop isn’t clear
- it's hard to differenciate the time, gold
- scroll mouse to change between turrets would be great
- when you wan’t to buy 3 turrets, you need to change your weapon location (1, 2, 3) between each
- hitboxes are too big (I got stucked by ennemies and here, i can’t move on the left :
Just something like this would have help a lot :
The game is still really good ♥
The option to choose between stationary or movable robots and different weapon types are very interesting.
Sometimes I took the stationary ones and placed them near a work shop.
But I took often times just the movable robots because I wanted to collect all the money and had to move around.
I died sometimes because I got stuck between a horde of enemies or because I got stuck between my robots and the enemies. The second reason was indeed the most unforgiving death.
I also think it would be more enjoyable if the time slows a bit down or stops when you choose a weapon in the shop or if you want to change the behaivior of the robots. Because that's really the strategy part of the game and the rest is more reactive and giving the player enough time for their choice just feels more fair.
I played the game 4 times. But never beaten it. :P Maybe I will try it later again. 10 Minutes for one playthrough was a bit long for me. But that's just a players taste.
Anyway, very solid and polished entry! I would like to see a post jam version of this. :)
Awesome entry! Really challenging and it's easy to become addicted! Great job!😎
Really nice and fun game! There was a lot of reading to do in the how to play though, and it was really annoying to get stuck between your robots. Overall though, amazing game! Very polished as well!
This was really fun! The art was really unique, it had a great color palette and atmosphere and I really liked the animations. It was really satisfying to grind for more money and buy robots. I sometimes felt overwhelmed, with all the robot UI. I didn't know what each weapon icon meant and I got lost between all the different pop up menus, all while the action was still going on, which was not helping. Also, the enemy intros are SICK, but please either slow time, stop time, or make the player invincible during these, because they hide the player's view while enemy collisions could happen. Great job, it fits really well with the theme :))))
It's a really good game! But I really think the amount of Monsters should be less and slower.
In my first try, I just ran away constantly and couldn't get to any shop without getting severe damage..
In my second try, I knew what I had to do, so I bought a lot of weapons constantly, but I still got crushed at the end, because monsters came from all sides and I couldn't move anymore. So the same problem again..
I still really liked the concept and had a lot of fun! The graphics are fantastic for a game made in 3 days and the Music is really good! ^^
I'd love to see this game in a more polished or even finished state after the jam is over!
A great Idea. The only problem is that most of the time I just ran away from the enemies while all my turrets got stuck in them. maybe they shouldn't have a hitbox. But otherwise really well made.
Nice game. At times I felt I did have any time to make a robot because of how many enemies there where. And when I tried to change the bot's tactics, I don't think it worked... It looks and sounds nice though, nice game!
The graphics are amazing and the music and sound is nice (though the coin pickup sound could be a bit louder). The game is fun and I think the concept is really cool. My biggest problems with the game are that it does drag on a bit (It's not too bad if you nail it first try but I wouldn't replay it if I died halfway through), and using the turrets effectively is really hard. I think it could help a lot if the turrets were simplified a bit and made to be a lot more powerful. Otherwise it's just better to run around the monsters until time runs out. But with that being said, the game really does have awesome art and the concept of managing turrets to fight for you is really cool.
This game is great! The visuals, sounds, gameplay - everything is really good. My only real problem was the pacing. Everything moves so fast that it is hard to explore all the customization options for the bot building. It would help a lot if there was an option to pause the world when in any sort of menu (i.e construction, targeting options). Still, very well done on this one :)
Great visuals, fun gameplay, clever title, and a unique take on tower defense. I liked the new enemy reveal screens. I did encounter 2 small issues with 1 gameplay issue, first, on a widescreen most of the UI goes off the screen, but I was able to change my resolution down to 1920x1080, and second, once I got to the last 60ish seconds, the game was running at about 4 fps, but that might be because I had 20 3 stack grenade launchers. Then the issue with gameplay isn't that important, but I felt that I wasn't able to use the robots close/far/strong/etc. due to the fact that I would have to set it for each individual gun (unless I missed something that allowed multi-editing), and I didn't really want to have to manually set 60 guns, while also being attacked by the undead. Other than those 3 things, it was a really great game!
I love this! Such a fun idea and executed very well! It took me a while to figure it out, but it is very fun and satisfying to build a bunch of robots and get them all following you around. The art style is excellent and it fits the theme very well. Overall a solid entry!!
Liked this game, especially the visuals and the music, the music is just a banger, other than the bug where i was stuck between enemies the game is really good, you guys can be proud of yourself. Maybe rework the tutorial a bit because there was a lot of text to read at first and thats never something players want to see, but other than that, good job!
It's crazy to see how similar, yet different our tower defense games are! I really enjoyed the simplicity. The music and art style fit really well together! The only thing that would've made it better for me was a more straightforward tutorial and descriptions on the different upgrades for the turrets. Great job
Love the graphics and the music, the instructions are too long and confusing for a simple concept.
Also I died by getting stuck between the enemies lol...
Thank you for playing! The tutorial was a bit rushed because we only had the final 15 minutes to work on it, so it's definitely something we're going to work on in the future. The "getting stuck" issue is also a big priority to fix, and we're working on a few possible solutions. Glad that you had fun though!
