Very nice vibes well done. And the damaging mechanic is quite smart. Maybe I'm getting old, but I kept missing the dice and dying haha

An incredible game! The art and audio is fantastic, and the movement and shooting felt phenomenal. The game reminded me of games like DUSK. It took me some time to get how the enemy dice worked, more feedback on whether you did the correct thing would be nice, and the voice lines seemed to be misleading, implying that I did the wrong thing when I actually didn't. The empty faces confused me at first, and it wasn't immediately obvious which side on the revolver's die was the active one. Once I got how everything worked however, it was a really fun and unique mechanic. Some of the enemy weak spots were a bit small, but still hitting them was not too annoying after I got used to it. I liked the healing dice and the fact that you can shoot the enemy projectiles out of the air. The big guy in the background could have been a boss in a finished game (maybe he already is and I just didn't play for long enough?). A really polished game already, I would love to see this developed into a full game!

You seem to be a pretty big team, if you all rated and commented on other jam games, you could probably get this game a lot more popular.

Thank you for your kind words!

Love the vibes. The game is really fun! The targets are pretty small though I might just be bad at FPS games. 5 stars.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, they did feel too small in the few playtests we’ve had, but there was no time to rework the art to change the size. Such rebalancing is among our priorities for the post-jam patches.

Thank you for your comment!

Loved it so much! One of my favorites on this game jam, that design and sound, definitely feel OG painkiller vibes, so cool

Haven't played such game in a while. The whole look of it reminded me of the "quake3", not as neat and tidy as most of the games nowadays. It really lacked for me the subtitles, and I wish the game mechanics were explained somewhere in written form (or maybe I'm just dumb enough to not realize I can jump till the middle of it). In total, I'd give it a 7/10, exciting enough to play and have some laugh. Good job guys!

Developer(+1)

Oh, Jump and Crouch really should’ve been explained. As the dedicated Controls Explanation guy, I apologize profusely!

Thank you for your comment!

This was really cool. Absolutely loved the art style and theme. Clearly some talented design happening here. The shooting and movement was nice and fast which kept pacing really interesting.
Congratulations to everyone involved here.

A beautiful and very fun game! Congratulations!

I really enjoyed the art style and the voice acting. The movement reminds me of Quake, which is a big plus.

I usually play with an inverted mouse, but I don't want to make you responsible for my own disability. :D

No-no, we absolutely should give the player a settings menu, and it will be a priority in the post-jam patches. It is our responsibility to make the experience approachable and customizable.

Thank you for your kind words!

Oh nice an FPS here in the jam!

Really cool idea! And a very awesome dice gun! The designs of everything is pretty sweet. And I think one of the best parts is the voice acting! Although it was slightly confusing sometimes because the voice would say like it didn't do damage or that didn't count but then the enemy died. Otherwise pretty awesome!!

Your whole team did great work on this! You all should be proud!!

At first I didn't understand, and when I did, I liked it

I wouldn't have found this if you hadn't played our dice FPS game too.  The vibe for this one is awesome, I like the take you guys had on the gun mechanics.

Congrats on pulling together such a huge team for the jam, that within itself is super impressive! The character control feels super good and the animations are super satisfying. The idea of hitting the dice on the enemies is a bit hard to do, especially with the 5s and 6s. The game feels very fair, if I took damage it was clearly my fault. Overall, great game!

One of the most stylistic games I've played this jam. I really liked the voiceover, it brings extra character. Gameplay is good, but sometimes I had to wait a bit too much trying to roll a 6. Overall I enjoyed playing it, great work.

If I am not mistaken, you posted pictures in discord channel during the development! I was confident that you will get to Top20.

Such an amazing work!

It took me a second to understand the revolver mechanic, but once I did, I had a blast shooting the different enemies and aiming at the dice! The voice acting was fun, and I like how there was a giant silhouette of a person looming in the background XD If there was one thing I might tweak a bit, I would say to make the weak spot of the flying ghouls a little bigger, since I found it difficult to aim with how they move! Overall though, great work!

What a stylish game and funny premise! The voice clips add a lot of flavor, too, though I think they can be a little confusing, implying you're dealing no damage to the enemies when I'm pretty sure you are.

Developer(+2)

Yeah, implementing the voice clips in the last hour definitely had its costs… Thank you for your kind words!

The game has an interesting idea and nice visuals. I played the demo version and was satisfied. I will be waiting for the full release. Thanks and good luck with development
