Trying to keep the blooms alive was fun. And it even somehow looked good despite the lack of textures. My PB was 21 bloobs. Some seemed to die on the elevator type platform randomly which felt bad though.
Great game! I'm impressed with how solid everything feels given the time allowed
I thought this game was hilarious and had an awesome style! I knew that clicking interacted with the obstacles, but at times I wasn't sure what clicking them would actually do. But it was a fun puzzler!
This is a big wow! It feels great to play, while the models seem to be placeholder and prototyping they don't actually look like it, instead getting a sort of style along with it. It was really fun high marks all around except for theme, I couldn't see the theme in the game. Perhaps you could clarify that point a bit?
Also, as a guy, I do like bloobs.
hey thanks so much for the comment! So my idea was originally "Death is only the beginning... of making Jam!" a play on the fact it's a game Jam and the wee bloobs die regardless, once you get to the end. I maybe could have added that tagline somewhere at the end or tried a bit harder to convey the idea.
A great lemmings style game, it looks so professional.
I was genuinely shocked that this is your only itch game, I get the impression you've made many games.
hey thanks for taking the time to try it out, it really means a lot to me! its my second Game Jam, but the first was a team of 6 where i was solely an environment artist. I've been learning to program in unreal with the GameDev.tv tutorials. This is my first time doing everything myself though. I am really humbled I've given off a professional feel, thank you.
I'm not sure how this game really goes with the jam theme. however, it's really one of my favorites to play in the jam. I laughed so much playing this. The camera work is perfect. the music selection is good. The controls are simple and I think you could really expand this game out if you wanted to. Well done.
My hat goes off to all the fallen bloobs on this little journey. These bloobs will always be in my heart and mind. Super fun concept and perfect energetic music!
Very nice game. Is just relax and take care of little bloobs to finish there legendary adventure. GJ
Haha, very charming. The animations added a lot, The blue blood effects when the little bloobs got hit was brutal. Having them turn into jam at the end was a nice touch. The levels weren’t very challenging, as you can just spam click to stop all of the obstacles, maybe if the game forced you to think mroe of the timings? The camera was very impressive, the preset angles gave the game a sort of tv style.
