That's close to where I was planning to go with it. I was considering adding some NPC's that you could interact with and do various things for. Something like the quartermaster needs new archer recruits, get a certain amount of points by shooting an archery target. Multiplayer also crossed my mind for a short time.

I'm certainly open to suggestions! This was my first "launched" game and I mainly did it to showcase what I knew for VR development.

Thanks! I’ve been contemplating picking this project back up and adding more content.

The assets are a combination of packs from Synty Studios

Great game! I'm impressed with how solid everything feels given the time allowed

Thanks for playing! I’m surprising you’re the only one to find that loop so far! I have a fix staged for it right now but am working on further testing.

I liked the aesthetics and classic arcade feel! I also really liked the UI style. Impressive for 10 days work!

Thanks! We had a lot more plans for this jam but ran out of time since we both got caught up in work. We had plans to add varying animations/attacks for the Giant as well as smaller mobs that made it more difficult. I also planned to add a health bar for the Giant and some more variability as well as add a load of visuals to enhance the environment. Thank you for the feedback and I will get them added to our list if they aren't already on it! It ultimately came down to us rushing to get done whatever we could in the last 2-3 days (while camping). I'm just glad we were able to get something submitted!

First tower defense style game I've played in this jam! The mechanics were put together well. The only issue I had was that it was hard to see some of the units being placed, especially the smaller ones. Good job!

Good job submitting a project! It looks good and I definitely understand being a solo dev! I struggle with modeling and graphics and thankfully found a friend who is able to do it well. Keep connecting with people and make sure to find people who can do what you struggle with and you will be making awesome games in no time!

The mechanics were solid. I think the only thing that threw me off was the short distance of the bullets. I felt like I had to get pretty close before I could actually shoot the enemy. Good job!

Good game with potential! I liked the story and really enjoyed the visuals of hell. You could look into setting it so when a dialogue has been read that it no longer appears. I ran into the one by the well probably 15+ times. Good job and keep it up!

Good game! The controls were a bit sensitive for me but that may have been your intent as it just makes it more challenging! I enjoyed the music and graphics

Great twist! I enjoyed playing this game

Great game with nice graphics. As mentioned in other comments some feedback in the gun would be nice as well as an in game menu to be able to restart or exit. Overall great job!

Great game! Everything was very smooth and polished. Definitely has potential to grow!

Absolutely love the environment you set up in this game. I could spent hours just wandering around, listening to the music!

The only one may be the visual scripting as we used that for one feature. Besides that, I don’t believe so

thanks! We plan to add a power modifier related to how drawn the arrow is to make the player have to fully draw to get a decent shot. We also plan to add effects for arrows hitting, rocks smashing the ground, and possibly even the mushrooms steps. Currently it is just a sound effect for the arrow hitting/missing but I’m not sure it’s reliable as the mesh colliders are acting a bit weird

Love the music and environment, very fun to play

Thanks for testing! We definitely hope to keep working on this. We had bigger plans for this jam but both ended up working extra and not having much time to work on it. Hopefully going to add mobs that vary each time he dies and some other features to make it more interesting.

Thanks! We had plans to add additional complexity, such as different sub fungi spawning as well but didn't have the time we had hoped. Currently he just spawns back with more health and armor.

Hi Yang, thank you for letting me know. I have added a link in the description to the github page as well as attached a zip folder containing the source code.

Thanks! We did find that out the shortly after submitting but it was already too late :(

Yes it is! We added a fader to the scene transition right before submitting and forgot to ignore raycasts. We were able to notice until after the window for resubmissions.
