THIS IS SO COOL!! i absolutely love the ps1-style retro art style, you definetly nailed it, and the atmosphere, with the lights and the crickets in the background, it's so good! definetly one of (if not the!) my favorites from this game jam! :3

How does you game fit the theme?
The story is taking place in a city, where your job is not actually real, as you are keeping it secret by making it look like something else, to hide the terrific truth.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I have made all the assets by myself, expections are:
A simple car controller script, a cat and person model. Every other asset, texture, sounds and music is made by me.

I'm a big fan of this style of graphics. You managed to take a very simple game loop and make it into a really engaging experience with a superb story. Great atmosphere!
I just wanted to be nice and clean the trash.... but the game had other plans for me.... well done :)
Me picked up trash, me cleaned up the city.
Interesting graphics btw.
There's just something scary and creepy about working as a garbage man in a small town that's in the middle of nowhere, I got jump scared at the end lol. Overall you did a great job in this game, I enjoyed every second of it.
It was satisfiying. I liked it but it went on for a bit too long. Good job!
OK! I'm impressed - I wasn't expecting to get invested in a garbage truck game.
The little details were fantastic - I love the weight of the bags and how the sign says how many bags are left. The camera work for the loading and the ending were excellent.
Feedback: Sometimes the truck wouldn't move forward until I reversed it. Also, I think the pacing could use some work - I was genuinely invested and kept at it, but I could see other people being less patient.
Thank you for your nice comment!
Really appreciate the feedback. I was really happy when I **tought** I fixed the 'reversing first, then car goes again' bug, but it seems like it did not get fixed. Yes, the pacing could be adjusted, as my game is a bit longer for people who just want to play many games to rate during the jam.
Nevertheless, thanks for playing!
Phew. I was relieved when the game ended. =D It was actually very scary. You got me a few times when I was not prepared. Very well made and solid game. Actually I would say it's the best game I have tested so far. The environment, music, lights everything worked very well.
Now this was really well made and solid for something made in only a week!
Great job man :)
Perfect game. The obscure mechanics really fit with the atmosphere. Only issue was I could not finish the game since if you enter the truck when the cutscene forces you out, you cannot get back out.
