I didn't expect to see a point and click game in Mech Jam, but here you are! Loved the visual style and the laid back music, but I had a tough time trying to figure out what to do and was unable to finish. Maybe a little too cryptic for my taste, but damn nice work on the visuals and very original!

Awesome visual presentation and i like the music that turns chill when the game truly starts.

I also like how you made this a point and click and integrated the 2 secondary themes you chose pretty well into it.

The game's biggest issue i think is how criptic it is to figure out how to progress, the further i was able to go was, the 2 guys in the back built a counterweight elevator (the one with the washing machine)

and guys close to the mech built a sort of pulley system that allowed the mech to turn around, after that i tried pixel hunting and clicking a bit everywhere but couldn't find what to do :(

Other than that, The game has a lot of flair and visual polish, the huge scale of the mech compared to the the red stick figure people is really cool :)

I got stuck. :( The beam was showing up white on a couple things I couldn’t actually click, too. Cool ambiance and idea though - it reminded me of Hapland, which is awesome. Very original game with very groovy tunes.

It's gorgeous and original, but I confess I did get quite stuck and relied almost entirely on the indicator, as I wasn't quite following how each step progressed to the next (in the sense of cause/effect or my objectives), though I think I started to faintly grasp it toward the end. In some ways this was refreshingly mind-challenging, but I didn't quite get that "Ah that's what I was meant to do" payoff that normally compensates for a click-searcher puzzle.

That said, I do think this was wonderfully inventive and the sound/visuals as components snapped onto the mech were highly satisfying.

I can't but apologize for the gameplay, and especially elevator section (aka the water level of this game.) It's very thrown-together and just not very intuitive.

The original plan was to have Mother narrate a bit more as you do things, and have something a bit more interesting than all those parts lifted by the elevator (e.g. one of them being a magnet that zaps the next part off a cliff or something.)

But that's what happens when you spend 10 days on the visuals instead. And that work at least seems to have paid off, which I'm glad to hear.

I can totally relate. Spent far too long on visuals and music (doing title screen before even a gameplay mockup, I should know better!)

Its like an escape-the-room game  meets Human Fall Flat, and I love it.

Fun fact, the game became inspired by the GROW series of games the second I added those blobby peeps as an animation test. You'll love those games if you liked Grocean.

Interesting concept, but I got stuck with missing pieces and spent several minutes clicking around without finding what I was supposed to be picking up first. I saw the bit about the white, red, and green light, but the most I got from that was I was clicking on all the wrong things and couldn't find the right one.


I think part of the confusion came from how I could also move and interact with the incomplete mech.

All the fancy mech movement was mostly due to the fact that this was supposed to be a fishing game, but turned into a point and click somewhere along the way. It wasn't really used at all for the point and click puzzle, other than moving it out of the way in the end. Oh well.

Some really nice visuals and animations but there came to a point where I was just clicking randomly trying to figure out what I could interact with and what I couldn't. I think it just needed some visual queues as to what can be interacted with, could be as simple as a change of mouse pointer or highlighting the object.

Really was looking forward to try this game but sadly after 5 minutes of clicking I was too stuck... Perhaps some object outlines on mouseover would help. Overall cool visuals and an unusual idea. I hope you polish it some day!
