In what way does your game fit the theme?
our game fits the theme of stronger together, as our main goal you cant finish the level without using all the charcters.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
all the code and art by me and my friend, but the music from opengameart by dts.

I like the pixel art , the game fits the theme. Its a bit tedious swapping between characters.
- Fullscreen seems to be broken:
-
Art is good, cohesive, and readable
-
When you switch characters while running their running animation continues to play
-
When you switch characters gravity stops which looks weird
-
If you stand on another character you can’t jump. It also keeps on playing the falling animation
-
When the sword guy dies it becomes impossible to switch to the torch guy
-
My biggest gripe is that the characters can collide with each other. It leads to a lot of frustrating encounters
we try to fix the fullscreen but we failed, but we fixed it in the new update.
the switching got a lot of bugs that we didn't have enough time to fix, and about the stop in the air (i got to choose from 2 bugs, 1- that the Characters can push each other outside the map or number 2 - the characters stop in the air if you were in my place what would you choose xD)
overall thanks for your nice and detailed feedback <3
(btw your game is awesome)
Love this game. Thoroughly enjoyed my playthrough and loved the Nordic setting. The characters were each fun to use and the levels were great too. The graphics and music both were really well together. One thing I noticed is that if you swap mid air the characters may get stuck in the air but otherwise great game!
Really cool atmosphere and graphics! I had a little bug when I couldn't change character for some reason. And I agree with some comments about enemy hitbox. Other than that - great idea and cool implementation!
The game wasn't too bad, I really liked the lighting and art. There are a few things I'd improve though
-The movement felt a little floaty to me, I think increasing the gravity would've helped
-The character with the sword felt like his hitbox with it was super small, I don't think I killed any enemies with him. Most of the time, I'd try to avoid the enemies at all costs
Overall, the game is alright, I think the art is the best part of the game, feels like it's trying to give a relaxing feel.
I like the moody atmosphere! The characters feel a bit to floaty for my taste, I would also like to have seen some more reaction from the boxes (in physics terms, like slowing you down when you hit them to make them feel heavier) Adding some feedback from the rats in terms of clearer hit boxes or some attack animation would have been nice. Getting hit felt a bit empty, some particles or screenshake can do wonders. But, overal it's a great entry!
your suggestions are right, we missed the "Polish State" of the game, adding particles and sound effects would have made the game more better for the eye and ear.
levels were the most thing we didn't give any time (because we didn't have time xD) a lot of ideas we had in mind like more functions for the box or more enemies, a boss and of course more benefits for the key and door idea.
and god willing we will do all of this stuff in the new update, Thanks so much <3 (can't believe you played our game T-T)
Tutorial needs a bit more polishing. For instance, I'm told twice about the restart button and on level three I'm already aware that the torch guy can lit up places. It's okay to hold the players hand, when you first introduce them to your game. It's unnecessary to repeat your instructions to them, especially when I was just told about that on the level before.
Combat and movement needs a bit more work too. On level four or five, one of my characters apparently slipped and couldn't get back up on the platform so I had to restart the level.
Also, my question is why do I need a key to get to the door, when the mechanic is you can't finish the level without all three characters? In other words, I don't see the use of having a key, unless it unlocks some secret cellar or hidden chest.
you are 100% right about the repeated instructions and that was a thing that we totally didn't take care of in the development of the game and we are sorry for that.
Combat and movement are made at the start of the game and we were aware of the issues but we didn't have much time to get everything perfect.
the key had 2 uses:
1- make sure the player play a part in the room (for example we put the key back the guard so the player should fight him)
2- we wanted to make levels that have 2 rooms, not just 1 room, but we realized we on last day on the jam.
In conclusion, all your issues god welling will be fixed soon as an update for the game. Thank you so much for your detailed feedback <3
