This game just oozes charm. From the animations , the art , to the sound effects and narration.

I was a bit confused at the end because there where a lot of ways to go but the right one was marked with signs , so I don't really know what the point is.

Some little improvement would be to add coyote time and to make the character accelerate a little bit faster. Also there is a weird stop after double jumping that kills your momentum after you land.

But non of these things broke the game for me and I really enjoyed it. Great work.

Nice game, the voice lines surprised me a lot in a good way! I liked the “twist”, but the “forced deaths” started to frustrate me after the second time. Good experience overall :D

Yeah, I think we should've given more time to the player to experience their new abilities, currently you just keep dieing while you didn't unlock everything.

You did a fantastic job with all the art, sfx and storytelling, I loved it! However, at first I felt just as annoyed as that underworld creature because I had to listen to a long speech every 30 seconds. Could you make them a little shorter, please? :)

Could be a good idea. We should probably have been focusing more on not frustrating the player.

Funny game! It felt like a lot of effort was put into this game, with the voiceover and the graphics, and the sound effects too - it had a very unique feel to it! With that being said, there could've been more too it - some music and other sound effects when running would've been nice, and the game itself wasn't very creative, as it was just:

Find obstacle
Die
Beat same obstacle with ease

repeated over a few times. The ending though, where you had to pull it all together to get to the end, was a lot better though so some more challenges utilising your new skills between obstacles would've been good. Even with all that being said, it still managed to keep me having fun until the end, and gradually annoying the narrator was pretty funny too, so nice work on this game!

We would have loved to add more content, but this was just a 3 day game jam, and we didn't have time for everything. As this was my first platformer I had to program everything from scratch, which took at least half of the jam. I stayed up until 3AM and slept only 5 hours every day so we could finish it in time.

I'm really glad you enjoyed our game tho.

Thank you for the feedback, You are 100% correct. This was the first game where either of us worked as a team during a jam and for me, my first online jam :)

This kind of feedback makes me want to participate in more jams in the future.

we'll keep these criticisms as stepping stones for future games. wherein we can do better :)

"Have you really died trying to jump on a turtle?? What are you... A Plumber??" xD

Ok, this game is really hilarious, and the voice acting only makes it best!! Gameplay wise i'd say that you die too close to the last spot (it's fine for the first two abilities, but i'd lengthen for the other ones), also i was a little bit disappointed that you can't attack the skeleton with the melee but i see why you did that :P. Also you should also add koyote time. The art was amazing btw, good job with that!!

Swattso really did a great job on writing and recording the lines. And with the art as well.

At my end, I spent a lot of time writing the code and adjusting the movement to feel as good as it could, but sadly enough 3 days is just not enough time.

Fun game. Voice lines were funny. Wanted more of those voice lines when I died more. Like going into his dimension again and coming out from the checkpoints little closer to the death point.

Rn were using the other dimension to only give the player abilities and some story, but it would indeed be interesting to see what else there is to explore in that weird dimension

This is great and I really love the voice lines! Just great! Also, I used the wand in the last voice acting part and it made the wand noice and it was majestic! (Im cutting the contract! wop wop wop wop)

Great game, Wish it had Music and a walljump that worked a bit better. Coming from just playing a 2D Mario for 2 Hours I was hoping to get a bit a better Walljump.

Thank you. Because of the time limit I couldn't make the wall sliding mechanic properly working, and that caused the wall jump to not be as good.

Really good game guys! i loved to play it. i love the art style and and dialog. the gameplay was perfectly nice (not to hard or to easy). and the soundeffect where... amazing :D
