hey. i send u a friend request on dc :D

hey, I send you a friend request, lets talk :D

Hi! I'm doing well, thank you — hope you're doing great too. I work with "Humba Qube"; they handle all of our marketing. So unfortunately, I'm not entirely sure how they managed to pull that off

Also, just to add — while I’m really into the current creature-building roguelike idea, I’m totally open to exploring other game concepts together if we click as a team. If my idea doesn’t end up being the one we want to commit to, I’m down to keep experimenting until we find something that really clicks for both of us. For me, it’s all about finding a partner who’s creative, dedicated, and excited to build something original — whatever that ends up being.

Also, I’d love to start with some game jams or small prototypes to explore ideas and get a feel for working together before we commit to a full project

Hey — I’m looking for a creative partner to team up with on a weird 2D game idea. This would ideally be a full-time duo project, built from the ground up.

The Core Idea A grotesque, strange 2D roguelike where you build creatures from modular body parts and use them to defend a statue from waves of enemies.

Visual tone: fleshy, organic, unsettling — but stylized

Core loop: build creatures → survive waves → get new parts → repeat

Roguelike elements like randomization and replayability are likely, but design is still wide open Right now the goal is to explore and prototype the idea, not lock in details

About Me

5+ years of game dev experience

Released The Unfound Soul (free on Steam)

Currently launching my first commercial game, Sweet Slaughter

I’m a full-time indie dev focused on code and design I've learned a lot about design through finishing and releasing games, and I'm confident handling that side technically. But this isn’t about me leading the design — I want us to figure things out together and shape the vision as a team.

I’ll take care of the coding, but design should be something we both explore and build together.

Who I’m Looking For

A 2D artist/visual designer interested in grotesque, creature-heavy visuals

Someone excited to shape the visualidentity of a strange, unique game

Ideally full-time or seriously committed to a full game project

Long-term, this would be a 50/50 revenue split

Timing

I'm still finishing Sweet Slaughter, so the experimenting and game jam phase would start around mid-August. I’m just putting this out early to start the conversation and hopefully find the right person.

If this sounds interesting to you — and you’re into weird art, creature design, and building something original as a duo — let’s talk.

Really good game guys! i loved to play it. i love the art style and and dialog. the gameplay was perfectly nice (not to hard or to easy). and the soundeffect where... amazing :D

Well done! we broke deynum again.

i think i have played every possible way. and i loved the game. it was to much fun getting called stupid over and over.

thank you so much for the positive feedback. i am happy you like it. maybe i can polish it a bit more for you :D

thank you for the feed back, i am happy you got the Isaac reference. i might keep working on the game to make it somehow more playable

thank you for the feed back. i think you are right, i should have mad the enemys collide with the obstacles. was a design decition of mine. but i am very happy that you liked the sound effects. i also love them very much :D

thank you for the feed back. i am happy to hear that the mechanics where good. and i will play your game soon

thank you for the feed back. i had self made music in the game but i decided to delete it because it did sound awful. anyways, i am happy you enjoyed playing the game.

thank you very much for the feedback. We are happy that you enjoyed playing the game.

Very nice art! well done, the music is nice as well. i really like the game over all very nice done guy(s).

Cool game, i like the referances, nice music. but be carefull with the colliders. i got stuck some times. i have the same problem a lot of times but colliders are important. anyways overall very nice game

the controls where made by Fishbigger. i also think they turned out well. thank you for the feedbac

Thank you very much!

Cool game! i love that it's replayable. the music is a bit too loud but other than that really fun game!

Cool Game like everytime! but its a bit annoying that the bullets are following.

Thats kind a true! ^^ thank you for the  feed back.

Thank you for playing the game, but there you be a restart button on the top right corner, you have to play in full screen tho. anyway thank you for the comment :D

good game! genius ending, thank you for that experience

this game does look amazing! the are is super cute and the sounds fit perfect, but it is a bit hard tho, can't wait to play the full version!

Cute little game. i like the art! simple but cool

cool idea, i like the game. the sounds are amazing, but it was way to hard for me. i watched the solution and you need to have a huge brain ^^ nothing for me tho.

i will finish it up if i find the time, but i don't really like how the game turned out ^^

I understand your point, i wanted to make a story about a snail that finds her way back home, but i don't really have time anymore, anyways. thank you for the feed back, if i find the time i will work on the UI

thank you for the feed back! the idea is to bring the snail back in place, i had no time to make the story so i only put a text at the end :(

lol ^^
