Great game, the energy mechanic was a bit confusing but the art and gameplay are nice.

The game looks really nice ! I've got a bug where an alien was stuck in a tree.
Game feeling is good overall, the way you managed the audio especially makes it stand out. It's fun to walk around the planet, and I could easily see the game being expanded with more maps, types of seeds, enemies, etc etc.
Only real gripe I have is sometimes when you're going down it's really hard to see the ships chasing after you because of the camera, and I've had situations were they would spawn right in front of me, although I guess it's on me to plan for that scenario and make sure I always have one energy left :p
As for additional polish, not sure what the grid highlight was for, as the seed is planted right below you. A timer that tells you the duration of waves would be great. Having the esc key pause the game instead of sending you back would be a small and good QoL too. Finally, a gauge above the battery seed to let you know when the next energy point is awarded could also help planning accordingly.
I feel like I've talked a lot about negatives or what could be improved but that's only because I've found it fairly enjoyable with plenty of potential and it got me thinking about everything I'd like to see in it! Well done :D
I really loved the art style of this game, the concept was original and really fun, it took me a while to understand the concept, but the graphics and game build are superb!
Features of the game such as volume, esc to quit and other little UX parts are spot on. Well done!
The Static Voids
I like this kind of game perspective. I feel that the whole planet is under my control. The UI with a sense of design.
Pretty
Awesome concept. Must say though, it was rather confusing in the start before i figure out what i was doing. I know there is little tutorial in the corner but it felt as if i wasn't doing anything and only after around 2-3 minutes i figured out how the system works.
After that it was a great experience, incredible work!
Really enjoyed the game but i think it's too difficult for a new player stright from the beginning (consider slower progression of difficulty). At some playthroughs I got three enemies spawned and stuck on the planet. I couldn't destroy them even by planting the seed close to them and by the time I was done trying the planet filled up with more enemies. I played it multiple times though and enjoyed the challenge every time!
I really like the low poly art! The gameplay was also really nice, planting seeds to grow your tower defense was pretty cool concept, but I wish they didn't die so easily from the UFOs haha. The UI, and transitions like the clock wipe was really nice. Very creative way to mix genres for sure. Great game and the post processing makes the game look even better!
Fun game! I really enjoyed the chaos of night. I'm really bad though.
that fat guy is me running from are 51 with the perfect game jam theme
