Little bit breaking the #LOWRESJAM rules by subpixel movement, and the camera movement isn't perfect as the character can go way too towards the edge of the screen, but it's a simple fun game. I really enjoyed it! Sweet little game! Very relaxing for some reason.

I downloaded the 600x600 version and it was 64x64, couldn't play it : (

Really great! Got stuck at a spider but I'm kind of bad at games so I'm sure it was my fault. Keep up the great work! :D Thanks for stopping by Supersysscvi's Stream on Youtube!

The music, sound effects, graphics, and gameplay kept me so engaged I came back to finish this game. ^^ It was fun!

For a serious critique, there's nothing I can add more than everyone else who has commented.

But, uh, one time I couldn't quite get a life in the 3rd level, so I started mashing the directional buttons and jump, and I, uh, started flying! I'm not sure if that's a glitch at 0 velocity or some invisible platforms you specifically put in there to reset jumps, but, uh, well. .//. I must admit that was an enjoyable twist to an already enjoyable game!

The graphics are cute and nice, but the sprites and backgrounds move at a sub-pixel resolution. The music is amazing though. :)

Cute little game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Low Rez Jam games, if you would like to take a look :)

Sweet Dreams has great music and visuals, transporting the player to a few different dreamlike levels. However, the main character's floaty jumping and camera add unnecessary difficulty. Moving the camera forward a bit would help see oncoming enemies and refining the jump would help with unintentional deaths. Overall though, fantastic little submission!

nice game, but is breaking the 64x64 rule, as you can see with the subpixel movement of the main character =/

The music loop really suits and the backgrounds are really nice . The main character is suitably cute and the sound fx really fit them. The first level's platforms don't quite fit the scene. I expected a grassy flooring similar to the background and such rather than the checkered, sonic two like platforms. On the plus side they were easy to spot and didn't get lost.

Level design is good. I enjoy finding little secrets.

The jump floats. Consider the time the player takes to reach the top of a jump, how long they stay up there, and how long they take to descend. Ideally a nice curve with about a quarter of a second at the top. As you change the jump, the level design has to change. Consider designing levels in a grid. Get the platforming controls nailed before the level design.

Another point that has already been said: If I lose my ability to fight enemies when I get hit the level should still be obviously do-able without that power or the power should be recoverable.

Nicely done.

The game feels a little clunky. When I dropped down to pick the key up, I thought I could do it everywhere and died. Also, if it's possible to lose your fire than it should be possible if not easier to finish the level without fire. I also think it would be really nice if you'd stick to the grid. Keep up the effort!
